Has Blockbuster UK leaked the Wii U launch titles?

Images from what is thought to be from Blockbuster UK's internal database lists both announced and unannounced Wii U titles.

Image taken from GoNintendo Blockbuster UK may have a mole on their hands, with GoNintendo finding themselves with images from what appears to be Blockbuster's internal database, listing 25 Wii U games set for release.

Some of the games listed have already been announced for the Wii U, but there are a lot that haven't. The list of games looks like this:

While this list definitely has titles we'd like to see, it's nothing more than a rumour at this stage. Retailers are not always provided with such extensive lists for releases, so there is not a lot that proves this list to be true.

So they're going to be releasing Arkham City, a game that has been out for a year, as one of their launch titles?

The first Modern Warfare took a year to come out on the Wii if I remember correctly (make that 2 years now I've checked)... and Arkham City's been on the Wii U list for a long time now. I'm sure there's an article somewhere about it, and it's on the Wiki release list too.

Wow, that is a bunch of titles most of us have already played... It's nice to see Nintendo getting some third party support, but can we get some NEW games please?

The list in that article is from June last year, so it's not going to be a complete or even correct list I'd think...

Well that's somewhat comforting... I'd really hate to see Nintendo have another flopped launch. That said, Nintendo really needs to release this thing, the Wii is basically dead. There's hardly any titles set to release this year...

The main problem Nintendo think they have is to convince those many millions who already have a Wii to upgrade to a Wii U, I haven't seen anything yet that's making me think about it. Same with the DS to 3DS upgrade...

I think that the inherent problem about the Wii U is that Wii is in the title. I mean, call it something different. Hell, they could just call it the "Nintendo 6" and people would line up for days to get it. Similarly, do you think that a lot of the problem with people upgrading from a DS to a 3DS is that they look strikingly similar?

You could say a similar thing about the PS Vita, although that just seems to be purely a lack of unique, must-own titles.

Yeah. Their strategy is obviously to appeal to the casual gamers, but the casual gamers don't really care about new games coming out. They can jump around on Wii Fit OR on Wii-U fit for an extra few hundred. They need something else that is "revolutionary".
