DS/3DS RPG Recommendations

So I've had my 3ds for about 8 months now (im actually writing this post on it), and ive got a few good games but nothing that really grabs me. i recently purchased links awakening dx on the virtual console, but i wanted some recommendations on solid, addicting rpgs. New, old, whatever. i buy a lot of games on ebay so the older ones are super cheap. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks and Semper Fi!!!

What kind of RPGs? There's SMT:Strange Journey, Etrian Oddyssey series for dungeon crawlers.

There's Suikoden Tierkreis and Nostalgia for traditional ones.

There's Devil Survivor 1 and 2 for SRPG.

There's Chrono Trigger if you haven't played that.

And of course Pokemon!

Not to mention a slew of Final Fantasy games.

Mankind's true moral test,
is fundamental test
which lies deeply buried from view,
consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy.
And in this respect mankind has suffered a fundamental debacle,
a debacle so fundamental that all others stem from it.

Ahhhhh maaannnnnn... Chrono Trigger... *drools*

You could also do something like . . . you know, I really don't have any. That newer 'Lufia: curse of the sinistrals' is fairly interesting. I have played 'Lufia: Wrath of the sinistrals' They should also do a DS / 3DS remake of Chrono Cross. Also a great game.

Thanks folks, im bidding on chrono trigger right now. i remember playing it when i was 7 or 8 on super nes, and i remember it being a blast. didn't even realize it was out on ds... as for pokemon, that was kinda cool when i was younger, but these days, i like my rpgs to be a little more than just attack, use item, attack, use item. i like to see some sort of change occur in my protagonist over the course of the story.
