How to get your hores or dog to follow you

This trick is super simple, al you do is whisle(press R)then just run or walk and your horse or dog will follow you.

Haha, this sounds an awful lot like Harvest Moon. And by your reference to the "R" button, it doesn't sound like any Gameboy version (probably N64).

Protip: One of the shoulder buttons calls your horse while the other calls your dog.

Edit: There are no whores in Harvest Moon (technically).
