It's basically Nintendo's way of "fixing" the controller so it is more accurate. It is a little box you attach to the end of your existing controller to make it have the functionality it should have had in the 1st place, possibly.

Currently, Wii motion controls only work in 6 directions (up, down, left, right, forward, back). Wii Motion Plus allows for complete 1 to 1 motion control. This wasn't available upon release of the Wii, because the technology wasn't developed at that point. (No, it would've been much worse if they had waited until now to release the Wii.)

Reviewers of those 2 tennis games that use Wii Motion Plus are saying that Wii Motion Plus greatly improves the experience, and hands-on articles on Wii Sports Resort are very positive concerning the new accessory, as well.

I certainly hope Lucas Arts is already developing a true 1 to 1 lightsaber combat game to take advantage of Wii Motion Plus.
Misty: They're not mature enough to admit it, but they really like each other.
Tracy: You know what? It's exactly the same thing with you and Ash.
Ash & Misty: YOU MUST BE CRAZY!!!!!
Ash: Wow, imagine Brock.....married!
Misty: You and I will be married someday, too.
Ash: Um hmm.............................Huh?!
We may not know Misty's last name right now, but in
the future she could be known as Misty Ketchum!
Currently playing: Sonic Unleashed (Wii); The Conduit (Wii); Wii Sports Resort

Other games with swordplay like Red Steel and Samurai Warriors: Katana could do with a Motion Plus sequel too...

They're already making Red Steel 2 with Wii Motion Plus.

Yeah, I figured Red Steel 2 would have Motion Plus, just needed to get a mention as I was on my way out.

But...But the technology HAS been developed for YEARS, now. I suppose it took this long to get it cheaper and more compact, however.
In case of emergency console hardware failure: I'm here.
Don't worry.

It's something that should have been done back in 2007.

Please check when the last post was made. Saying something (that has already been said, I might add) in a thread that's obviously dead counts as SPAM...
