nes miracle help

i need to know how to start the game i put the game in my nes and hooked a controller into port 1 when i turned on the nes and the game started i pressed start but nothing happend i know its not the controller because it works just fine but i need to know if i need a certain nes controller to play miracle also this game is a nes piano game

Hm, I'd never heard of this before. It does indeed seem like the keyboard is the essential part, along with necessary cords.

Here's a commercial for what looks like the pc version, but I think it's basically the same.

Looks like it's pretty rare, so good luck finding it.
