My Playstation Collection
Ok. So I'm building mine up..finally, than moving on too ps2 stuff...but for now I'm actually seriously diving into the PS1 library..today I bought Tomba and Vagrant Stories for 40 bucks and a bunch of old movies and cd's...I'm mainly focusing on the rarer things, and mostly RPG's and Platformers.
Here's what I own: Final Fantasy VII (borrowed, but I'm not returning til I'm completely done.) Final Fantasy VIII Final Fantasy IX Metal Gear Solid Threads of Fate Tomba! Tomba!2 Vagrant Stories Worms Armageddon What's on my list: Arc the Lad Collection Breath of Fire III Breath of Fire IV Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena Chrono Cross Crash Bandicoot Crash Bandicoot 2 Crash Bandicoot 3 Crash Team Racing Darkstone Dragon Warrior VII Final Fantasy Anthology Final Fantasy Chronicles Final Fantasy Origins Final Fantasy Tactics Grandia Herc’s Adventure Legend of Dragoon Legend of Mana Lunar Silver Star Story Complete Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete Persona Persona 2 Resident Evil Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil 3 SaGa Frontier SaGa Frontier 2 Suikoden Suikoden II Spyro Spyro 2 Spyro 3 Tales of Destiny Thousand Arms Vanguard Bandits Valkyrie Profile Wild Arms Wild Arms 2 Xenogears Did I miss anything? and I know this is an expensive list...but I've seen a lot of these around at various flea markets and such for much cheaper than there online price...but a few I'm going to have to get online. Oh also..which of these are actually worth the hefty price tag..like I've been reading lots of "top PS1 game lists" and made my list from there..have I listed any that aren't worth the 40+ dollars?

You missed two of the best-selling PS1 games of all-time: Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2. Both are Greatest Hits titles, and thus you should be able to find them for around $20 or so.

Yeah, I just read that.
 However, even if the focus is RPGs/platformers, to have a library of the best PS1 games and not have GT/GT2 is blasphemy.

I will respectfully disagree, sir. I was never a fan of Gran Turismo. "Realistic" racers have never been my thing. I've always found the series quite boring.
Also, maybe you should try to get Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions. The Oddworld games as well, those games are pretty nice. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night should be a given. Front Mission 3. It's a strategy game but you have Final Fantasy Tactics and Vanguard Bandits up there. Thousand Arms is a bit of a quirky RPG but it's fun. Parasite Eve. Dude, that should've been on your list. The Digimon World games for PS1 aren't half bad. How about the Tales games on the PS1 and Mega Man X games?

Haha, the last detective mission was great. Wasn't the first battles with Gurlugon or whatever the giant genome soldier's name was on that?
