What is the difference between the two?

I was thinking of trading in my (Original) PSP and getting a slim. But when I look on gamestop there are like three different kinds. Which is the newest out of these?

PSP Core 3000

The PSP-3000 is the third generation of PSP. It came out in October of last year. If you look at the model number your original will be PSP-1000. The Slim is PSP-2000.

The main advantage of the PSP-3000 over the PSP-2000 is the improved screen and the addition of a microphone.

Yeah I just seen pictures for the PSP 4000 model. Infact I believe there was a thread here about it.

And you don't need hdmi hook ups to play on you TV it works with regular audio-video jacks.....
