Is the game Crysis ridden with DRM?
Lately I've finished building a new computer for myself and apart from a video card it's pretty much complete....
Intel e8400 3.0ghz OC'd to 3.6ghz 2GB DDR2 800 320gb SATA 7200RPM Windows XP SP2 (x86/32-bit) Nvidia 7600gt...which is being replaced with an ATI 4850 today ...and I was thinking about picking up a new game to kind of act as a benchmark for it. I figured Crysis would be perfect for that but I'm concerned about if it's a game that's pretty much ridden with DRM...such as having to activate the game on every install or having to be connected to the internet. If it is I'd like to know so I can avoid purchasing it. I know this sort of thing shouldn't bother me but sparing my long-winded opinion I'm rather annoyed by an over-abundance of DRM in my games.

From what I understand, it does not have a strict DRM at all. I don't think you need to activate it on every install or be connected to the internet.
As long as you have the CD-Key you can install it on as many computers as you want. Meaning, it is pretty lenient. However, you can't play online in the same server, as someone with the same CD-key. |
