RnB and Hip Hop
Ain't that many threads about these types of muzik so i'm gonna start one. Right first thing i think that 2007 was Lil Wayne's year, had a great year with some dirty songs, i think T-Pain would probably come second as he burst onto the scene with his album and then some great tracks.
Anyway if there's any new tunes that you people wanna discuss about or want any new RnB or Hip Hop tunes by an artist then just ask me cause i probably know all of them, so name me an artist and i will name you his latest 5 newest tunes, however if you have a brand new tune that you think i haven't heard of then tell me about it here or PM me. |

The new Usher single with Young Jeezy (ayyy), "Make Love In This Club" is pretty hot right now. Its got a slow-jam/rap feel to it. I've never been a big Usher fan but I can't get enough of this one.
The newest mixtape from G-Units been released and its pretty hot as well, its called Return Of The Body Snatchers vol. 1. Worth checking out if your a fan. The new G-Unit albums set to drop any month now. I loved first one so I got high hopes... Lil Wayne was pretty hot in 07, but thats only cause he's pumping out mixtapes like there goin out of style. A lot of his rhymes are pretty ridiculous but I still show him some respect. I still bang The Drought 3, that ones timeless. |

Well the answer why there aren't that many threads about them is that this is the music and radio forum. They are not music, simply noise, which is why there aren't any topics here about them.

Can't say much about hip-hop this year, still a bit obsessive over Hell Hath No Fury. I did hear great things about the following (that they were the best albums of the year) so if you know anything I'd be interested before I "acquire" them myself
Blue Scholar - Bayani DJ Jazzy Jeff - The Return of the Magnificent El-P - Ill Sleep When Youre Dead Cornel West & BMWMB - Never Forget a Journey of Revelation And I know Weezy isn't on it. I just can't allow myself to name a mixtape as one of the best hip-hop albums of the year no matter how great it is |

How comes Young Buck isn't on the cover of the album?
Anyways just want to let some people know about Konvict Muzik's newest member who's Coldy O Donis, check out his track with Lil Romeo, it's called take you away, pretty cool, looks like he'll be one for the future. |

I can't really stand todays HipHop and RnB. I'm pretty much old school. Every time I hear Soulja Boy, I just want to kill myself. I mean what happened to the soul of this genre? From Run DMC to NWA, that was real Rap. It actually meant something rather than todays lame bass beats and stolen/poor lyrics.

Just found this, thought Outlaw would enjoy it especially. Its a glossary of every lyrical reference Weezy makes on Tha Drought. http://jcoscarelli.blogspot.com/2007...t-for-you.html Also curious, what albums you looking forward to this year? For starters I'll list mine (not enough skramz throughout the year to keep me busy. And when I'm bored of that, post-rock, and the punx, hip-hop is the only logical follower. Not counting the past year, an off year which I need to make up for ahora) The Roots - Rising Down Rakim - Seven Seals (Probably won't ever be released) Dr Dre - Detox (If it comes out its gonna blow, but still gonna grab it) Rhymefest - El Che (losing my interest in Rhymefest but we'll see what he can do) Royce Da 5`9 - The Revival (Probably my most anticipated) Saigon - Greatest Story Never Told (would be my most anticipated if I thought it would ever come out) Papoose - Nacerima Dream AZ - Undeniable Raekwon - OBFCLII Also on the street is that while the Ghostface Killah/MF Doom collab is failing (god MF Doom has gone ****ing nuts lately), apparently GfK is working with Rae for ****ing Cuban Linx II. A travesty it took this long for a Wu reference to be made (yeah last album did suck). And finally (yeah, I get really bored sometimes), anyone listen to Senim Silla? "Brothers Killed Malcolm" was one of the best songs from last year (shame I just heard it a week ago), you guys should get on that |

Yeah thanks for that it was kinda interesting listening to how he mixed da tunes.
It's been quiet a while since there's been a really big blockbuster tune out like for example Kiss Kiss or I Get Money, etc. |
