My friend said that for christmas he got me tickets to SOAD in June or July. Now I'm kinda thinking that it's a tribute band or something seeing that they're on hiatus and all. I'm in Australia and the gig is in Sydney. So I'm wondering if it's a tribute band or the real thing. Anyone know?

Last I heard, Daron Malakian has no intentions of re-joining the group and has a major cocaine issue. John Dolyman is doing his own project now, and Shavo Odajwhatever is doing his own thing.

Serj Tankian is a one-man show in his mind, so, I doubt they'll be re-uniting anytime soon. He is doing a massive tour, though.
