Anyone Like French House/Dance/Electro?

well, yeah I do.
for about a year now, stuff like Sebastien Tellier, Justice, Felix Da Housecat (he's not french I know but I was just looking at my playlist) and of course, Daft Punk.
most recently I've been listing to Thomas Bangalter's solo work, and the edit he did for DJ Mehdi.

Well when your lookin for some good french house you cannot leave out David Guetta. His live performances are amazing. I've never been myself but just from the videos I've seen you can tell its one hell of a dance party. He was at the Big Beach Boutique 3 concert with Fatboy Slim on New Years and spinned a killer set. Worth checking out for sure. The new single "Baby When The Lights Go Out" is one of my current fave dance/house tracks.

Thats really the only french DJ I know of, so I look forward to checking out what you've listed there. I'm more into the Italian scene myself.

Oh god I forgot Dave Guetta.
you should check ou Sebastien Tellier's new album "Sexuality" espicially the one track "Sexual Sportswear"
and also Daft Punk did a live album in november last year "Alive 2007", it's basically a hour and a half of pure mixing and DJing I really advise you to check that out.

I'll definetely check out Sebastien Tellier,I've heard good reviews.

Alive 2007 is pretty mint I must say. Daft Punk puts on one of the best live shows I've ever seen. The lighting and effects are really astonishing. Too bad I've never had the oppurtunity to see it first hand. I am going to see David Guetta though next Thurs at Circa here in Toronto. Its basically an all night rave, 9pm till 8am. He'll on the main stage for most of the night. Cant wait!!

Everyone loves Daft Punk. I think it's the law or something. One of my housemates keeps raving about their live album, I shall have to give it a listen...

Electro is awesome. It really layed the foundation for Deep/Hard House. Man Parrish has some of the best beats I've ever heard, such as Boogie Down Bronx and Hip Hop Be Bop.

Justice and Daft Punk are the only ones I listen to in the French scene. It wasn't until just last year that I really started to get into electronic music and I normally gravitate towards the UK and German artists. Aphex/AFX, Ulrich Schnauss, Boards of Canada, Venetian Snares, Kraftwerk, Amon Tobin, Autechre, and a few others. Naturally, since I'm new to the genre I don't know much about the different genre names, it's all just "electronic" to me at this phase.

I did see Justice live though and man, was it a good show.

You should check out Modjo, Dimitri From Paris, and Ursula 1000 you'll definitely like them. If of course you haven't already heard them lol.
