Question Star Wars: Battlefront II on Vista

I have a problem installing SW:BFII on Vista, I have already set it to compatibility mode for XP, But about halfway through, there is an error and it halts installation and closes the program, is there anything I can do?

Nicole: Sonic, my main Hedgehog, Wattup?
Princess Sally: I hate when she talks like that...

I just bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 today and it seemed to download great.....i'm on vista too so....maybe you should check your hard drive or something....if it doesn't go after that write lucasarts and see if they have a solution.

Eh? Check your hard drive? Do you mean to see if you've got the right amount of space or what?

And you might've scratched/smudged the disk, so you should check and clean it. Since those two things seem the only normal problems. If it continues to pop up, can you copy and paste what it says?

Ahh, my brother has it now, dang, Idk, I checked someother forums and some simalar problems to what I'm having showed up, so I'm guessing its common on vista, by the way I'm using Vista Basic, that could be the the problem.
