Old school space combat

I've been searching unsuccessfully for an old game that i had a Demo for. The demo came in a pack with demos for: Rise of the Triad, Cannon Fodder, and thats all i can remember.

I remember it was an open space environment, full 3d. Your commanding officer at the beginning was a huge guy with a scar on his eye and said he was "Callsign : Mother". Sorry for the vague details, just trying to satisfy my curiosity with this old game.

Try searching on google for vintage game sites, look under the system(s) it was for, that would probably the best way.
