Alter Bridge and Creed/Scott Stapp.
Anyone like them? My dad got me to liking Creed at a very young age. But I'm beginning to maybe (hate to say it but) am starting to Like Alter Bridge better. I am a big fan of Stapp, But I dont think his solo career is doing so well. His last cd (or tour atleast) bombed (bad bomb). I bought the Great Divide and the songs are good. I know them all.
Just bought the new Alter Bridge Album a few weeks ago and already know 4 or ?12? songs by heart. Thats pretty fast for me. Anyone else like these bands? |

I'm into Creed. I love their sound. The only album I ever got from them is, their Greatest Hits. But I loved that album to death. I just started recently getting into Alter Bridge. I like what I hear. I got their newest album about three weeks ago. As for Scott Stapp. Damn.... Well I just think he should've stuck with Creed. He's good, but he lacks that sound we loved him for.

My Own Prison, Human Clay, and Weathered . . . but they had, like, four or five hit songs apiece.
I really liked Creed, but I think Alter Bridge blows Creed out of the water. Myles is a way better vocalist than Stapp (but Stapp sings with passion, I'll give him that). I also like how Alter Bridge allowed Tremonti to really cut loose in terms of guitar playing . . . he's PHENOMENAL, and anyone who says otherwise has obviously never listened to him. I don't know if Blackbird was a BETTER album than One Day Remains, but they're both very good albums in their own right. I like hearing Myles play guitar, too. I thought Stapp's solo album was abysmal, which let me down (I really wanted it to be good, since all his former bandmates were doing so well).

Mark Tremonti is one of the best guitar players in the world. He can do so much good stuff. He went for lessons and they wanted to teach him twinkle twinkle little star...Nope not gunna happen he wanted to play Master of Puppets. He sat in his room for hours and just played.

Liked Creed from the begining. Alter Bridge is cool as well. Sorry to say I didn't care for the solo stuff from Scott Stapp.

My Own Prison Human Clay Weathered (Which didn't have the original bassist) and Alter Bridge has 2 discs so far Alter Bridge Blackbird and I prefer Alter Bridge to Creed, mainly on a vocal level. Miles Kennedy reminds me almost of Robert Plant. |
