If you're incredibley weird like me and don't do alot of Wifi Battling, then I would go with Scyther. I'm a speed demon myself, and the original version has yet to fail me. ^^ But I'm odd.

Scizor has a few good advantages over Scyther, most notably being the lack of a Stealth Rock weak.

I prefer a scizor myself. because one you have a larger movepool, two you have defense. I raised my scyther till about level 50, I battled with him holding a macho brace, and fed him many vitamins to bring his EVS to the top. now I'm hunting down the required metal coat to strengthen him and turn his speed-laced self into an even better powerhouse. of course if it is a probelm you could always raise a scyuther to level 99, and then have it it breed out another scyther and turn it into a scizor along the line somewhere and give it an exp share not to mention coinstant vitamins to raise your scizors EV's. From there your decision lies with you, and you might have the path to your salvation.

Seems good to me. A stat boosting berry or Leftovers are your best bets for the items. EV spread?

I personally am rather fond of the Choice Band Scizor I've been using on Shoddy:
Scizor @ Choice Band Adamant nature 252 Atk / some Defence, HP and Speed Technician - U-Turn - Pursuit / Quick Attack - Aerial Ace - Brick Break I personally don't like Iron Head because Steel attacks get some of the worst coverage in the game. You're only super effective against Ice and Rock (which Brick Break covers and then some), and you're not very effective against Fire (sort of common), Water (common), Electric (not very common), and Steel (common, and Brick Break covers it). Despite the STAB, I personally wouldn't recommend it nd I frequently found myself wishing I had another move when I used it. Technician makes Aerial Ace a 90 BP move, and Pursuit and Quick Attack 60 BP moves. U-Turn is quite awesome.

Seerow has always been quite the strategist.
Depending on what you go for, either Pursuit or Quick Attack can be of more use. I personally would think that with Pursuit's double damage on switchers, it would help in weakening pokemon switching out to those that have fire moves (A common strategy on Scizor). However, with Quick Attack, you can hit the switcher coming in and do decent damage, then strike again if they suffered heavily from the first hit. You'll probably see yet another switch if over 50% health is gone, so you can probably go for a second anyways. For potential KO ability, Pursuit always beats Quick Attack. Do you ever get either of those two scenarios happening, Seerow? |

I would agree that the CB set is better, but he asked about his current moveset, which was good. Still, whatever you want.
