Amazon or Ebay will have it undoubtedly. You probably won't be able to get it any other way unless you know someone who has it and wants to sell it or give it to you.

I have to say that this is the hardest Castlevania I've tried(the only other being for 64). It took me months to beat this game. I was doing it on gba(nes classic) and I was able to save my area. Are you able to save on the nes cartridge? If not, I wish you good luck... You'll need it.

Ya, there is no save option and I have never gotten more than a half hour into it before giving up or losing.

LOL, I dont know where you from, but I bought Castlevania I for $5 at a used game store (very common), as for the other two, you may have some problems finding it... Get ready for a challenge in the first game... I played Drac for one hour (not exaggerating) and never beat him... very very frustrating

The first Castlevania only had 5 or 6 levels and no save point. The triple hit boomerang is a crucial weapon needed to take down Grim Reaper and Dracula. Castlevania 3 has level codes you get when you advance in the game. Theres codes out there that if you enter a certain name and code, you start with 10 lives every time. You still have to beat Dracula legit, but you have more chances doing it.

I used holy water to defeat dracula, however it took days for me to perfect my strategy. Hehe at first I remember being so happy that I beat dracula, and then he turns into this giant beast and crushes me with no mercy. Needless to say I spent another day trying to defeat him right.

Note:This was on GBA, where you can save. For me to beat the original cart I would smash 2 nes systems, 3 nes controllers, and 5 of my mother's vase's. All that to vent off the anger of losing countless times to the same monsters!

Yah thats classic NES frustration, you beat a guy and he turns into something else. First game Dracula has 2 forms but part 3 has him in 3 forms. First is Dracula, then a acid dripping demon head, then a huge jumping leviathan. Only game that was as frustrating was Mega Man and Dr Wily's end battles.

I never finished Castlevania. I remember getting up to level 4 I think.

Castlevania was a hoot! well good. A little more rpg-ish but it works great, and it's got reasonable life-span.

As for Megaman - the trick was to fire the bolt of electricity, and the as it makes contact, hammer the pause button. so long as the bolt is still touching the bad guy sprite, each unpause would damage them again.

Ahhh, Castlevania 2 has always been one of my favorites.I never could beat it without using the all weapons code. It is MS60 QVCW 1VKU UFBC, for anyone who doesn't already know.I've tried doing it without the code, but it can easily take all day.
