well i have NEVER gone out on a date (even though my mom says im handsome, LOL LMAO jk. . . im being lame) mainly because im not confident enough, but finally, i asked someone out but she put me on hold (shes an internet friend whove i known for 4 years) and we are soon going to meet. I hope. But i was wondering if there are any books or tips on kissing on the first date? especially with diagrams of actually how to do it. Im that Ignorant on how to do it.

The only real advice I can give you here is to do what feels right. Probably doesn't make much sense now. But you're probably young enough where this girl isn't going to be expecting you to be some kind of Cassanova.

Actually what feel right to me right now, is that shes taller than me. Which means that i have to tip toe, or to trick her into crouching a little bit. . . i kinda want it to be a surprise or something. . .

You don't need as much help as you think you do. When the time comes, you'll figure it out on your own and just improve with practice. The timing is the hard part for the first kiss.. best advice is to just play by ear and hope for the best.

I was like 14.... meeting people from online sucks I met a girl from online but she lived in the same town as me just went to a different school she ended up looking totally different from the pictures I saw thank god the movie we went to see had a hot chick in it so I just focused on the hot chick and all my troubles went away. Kissing isn't as hard as you think after the first time you'll feel a lot better....I've heard a lot of girls say that guys kiss a lot rougher than other girls do so taking this into heed i tend to do things with light feet and a soft touch now so maybe take that into account as well. MAYBE if that is even true just saying what I've heard....can anyone substantiate that?

Just a style pointer; you might not want to 'surprise' her. You've known her for four years, but trust me...it's all back to well...we'll say square two when you meet in person.

Just see if the chemistry is right. I find the best time to make a first kiss is when you and her are kind of having a moment where everything else around you is suddenly blocked out and you're just kind of staring at each other. This can happen anywhere; even in a crowded location, or an obviously romantic/moody one. Just try and make eye contact and hold it. You can't make it happen if she's not feeling it too, but that's the way to see if she is.

The surprise kiss has too many ways to backfire. Plus it's a pretty big invasion to make on an assumption. It's better to make eye contact and see if the feeling is right.

Don't pucker, that's what you do for a peck on the cheek.

Your lower lip is the only one that moves and, and you don't actually use your lip muscles per se. You use the muscles lower down on your chin. You bring your lower lip out a bit, then up and back, letting the upper one glide across it. It looks stupid by yourself, but when she's doing it too and there's lip contact, it makes more sense. When your lips contact something, they may not actually move, but your muscles will make pressure against whatever you're kissing. It should be a smooth upwards circular motion. That's a little better than a simple kiss, but nothing overly fancy.

Then of course there's style points for advanced stuff. No need to jump the gun though, get the basics down first.

I thought the same thing before my first kiss, basically there is no correct way or steps on how to do it, it just happens, when I had my first kiss I had no idea on what was coming.

Just play it out like they do in movies if you want an example.

Yes. Several times. Some turn out really badly, you don't click at all, and you want to leave straight away. Others, I've ended up making out with that night. It really depends on the person and whether you click with them in real life. All I can sugget is meet in public, and make whatever you do together fairly short and cheap, or free. The first meeting is just to see how well you go in person.

What about sitting down? Then you two are both the same height, or at least a lot closer. Differing heights isn't really much of an issue most of the time, if you're going for a kiss she'll lean down toward you.

Don't worry about trying to make it really good or anything, just try to relax and be comfortable. Make the first kiss short, push your lips against hers then pull back a bit so you are looking into her face and smile at her. She will most likely smile back.
