Hardcore or not hardcore.

I'm curious if anyone will be playing a hardcore character upon launch. I've never played a hardcore character personally, bit I've considered giving it a shot upon release. I might wait just to give the game a run without needing to be super careful, though I would play the second hardcore run as a different class. I would like to play with yiu fellas though.

Hardcore characters have never appealed to me, but I certainly wouldn't go with a hardcore character for your first run through of a new game. There would be far too much pressure on it.

Still, the thought of losing all my progress would ruin me. I'm generally pretty careless at these kinds of games, as Jamie will attest to after having to revive me every 30 seconds in Magicka.

There's no PKers AT ALL. Dueling is in a PvP Arena only.

Especially in hardcore. Nothing worse than a 98 hammerdin bot ruining your fun.

Well, I suppose it's slightly more accessible in the absence of PKing. But for me it crosses a line that would stop the game being enjoyable.

Yeah, I don't think a Diablo hardcore character would suit you.
