Just bought a Dreamcast; what games would you recommend?

So I went and bought a Dreamcast to continue my phase of buying old consoles. It already comes with Shenmue 1 & 2, which I thought were essential despite not being a massive fan of the original. I don't really have any other massively notable games in the 19 game bundle that I bought, so am open to suggestions on the games that everyone considers essential.

So far I plan on picking up Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, Power Stone 1 & 2, and perhaps Skies of Arcadia if I can find it cheap enough (I already have the Gamecube version). Likewise with Resident Evil 2 & 3 (Code Veronica comes with the console).

Seems an obvious choice, but can I even play that online anymore? I thought the Dreamcast online was taken down a while ago.

Pretty sure the servers were taken down, but it still has an offline mode.

Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio, and Jet Set Radio. Am I not only saying that because it is one of my favorite games, wait, yes I am.

Some other good ones are Seaman, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Soul Calibur, Grandia 2, and there is Sonic Adventure if you hate yourself.

Soul Reaver comes with the package, and though I already own it on the PS1 it's good to have it with the smoother Dreamcast graphics.

The others are good suggestions. Jet Set Radio is on the list, as is Grandia 2. I never played Seaman and don't like Sonic Adventure at all (like most people). I probably should pick up Soul Calibur as a matter of principle, though other fighting games are a priority.

I think Seaman would be a waste of anyone's time. You can only play for like 5 minutes a day, and once you beat it there isn't much reason to go back to it.

I usually just play Typing of the Dead, Shenmue, or Virtua Tennis. DC has good fighting games, but the system's D-pad seriously blows. I Just play Alpha 3 on Saturn, and the 3rd strike games on PS2

Some PS2 games were good, although some of them were really horrible. For example i didn't much like or care for MADDEN 2001. On the ATARI 2600 PAC-man and Q-bert were awesome games but you couldn't see the screen. On the NES Mega man 1 thur 6 i thought had good graphics. The Double dragon series especially DD 1 i hated that game. DD 2 or Double dragon 2 was awesome, but DD 3 Double dragon 3 u could travel around the world and use different enemies who you've defeated along the way. I Love Love Love the Castlevania series from the nes era!!! even Super Castlevania IV was wicked. cause it had good graphics, music and levels for it's time. Castlevania SOTN, good game, solid graphics and the music was just awesome!! who agrees, and how do i add friends on here?
