Brutal Legend Multiplayer Help/100%

Multiplayer is intense. The one game I played I got destroyed by a guy who rushed me with Fire Barons. I was just drying out another faction so I wasn't too efficient but I don't see how I'll ever win a game at this rate.

Anyone have any tips?

Also: Does anyone have 100% on this game? I'm around 80, but I know the final things I have to find are going to be really challenging because I haven't really kept track of the bound serpents I've freed so I'm gonna have to check all of the spots for them. How long did it take you if you got it?

I've got about 60% of the achievements as things stand now. I need to gather about 59 Bound Serpents, find two more bug jumps, kill a Tollusk with some Ground Urchins (I've tried; something always goes wrong! ), figure out which animal I haven't ridden and then it's all RTS/multi-player stuff.

Unfortunately as I've only played the RTS portion in the story mode, I can't provide any assistance with Fire Barons at the moment. They didn't seem too deadly in single-player, but then again 99% of my time was spent summoning/double teaming with Razor Girls and occasionally dropping a Rock Crusher for good measure. 'Tis what you get for starting the game on Brutal difficulty, I suppose, but ah well.

Probably better to go and do all of those double team achievements and obtain the concept arts for the factions before heading online, eh?

I guess so. My worry is that I'll have all of the achievements except for the online ones and because they are so challenging I will get bored of the game. Even if I could just get the 10 wins online achievement, I would be happy. Of course in a year, there's a possibility no one will play this online so it might be easier to boost

I got 100% in the single player but I'm only around 80% or so on the trophies. The best multiplayer advice I can give is that you need to take full advantage of the double teams, learning exactly what they all are and how they work. Also be familiar with the solos, there is a little bit of variety between the 3 factions.

I've only played online a few times actually, but I've won every one (with a very near loss in my first match). I've also never used Tainted Coil online though I've heard they're the best if you can master them. I guess it all comes down to practice, practice, practice.
It's a very dark night. What's that noise? Hurry, lock the doors and windows. Pray that he leaves and quiver in fear. The MADMAN is outside... and he wants to get in...

Yeah recently I haven't played any online in this game. I've collected everything except the concept art (which I'll do later) and I'm missing 1 Serpent. I've searched the entire map countless times and I have no clue where it is.

I was going to start a new campaign on Brutal to get that achievement but it said it would overwrite my save progress, which would screw me over because then I would have to find all 120 again.

The same thing happened to me with the original Assassin's Creed; I had collected 50-75% of the maps in any given district, but I had absolutely no idea what I had gotten or what I was missing so I was forced to sacrifice my clear data by starting over.

I haven't turned my Xbox 360 on in a few days, but I'm pretty sure I managed to collect all of the single-player achievements. I need to get the unit-specific things like trapping 15 (25?) enemies within the Fire Baron's double team AOE, but then it's just down to getting wins.

I was messing around with all of the factions in a custom game on the "Feeding Area" map -- it's the map where that big serpent/insect boss appears in the middle -- trying to get a feel for things. The Drowning Doom has restrictions on how many of any certain type of unit can be summoned, but the game doesn't actually bother to inform you of that until you try to create one beyond the maximum. Moreover most of the Drowning Doom's units seem to be worthless unless you're double teaming with them -- with the possible exception of summoning multiple Reapers -- so I didn't make much progress there.

The Tainted Coil is just weird, though. There are multiple versions of each unit available, and all but three are summoned through your other units and not from the stage. I imagine if you put a lot of time and effort into learning their hierarchy you could pretty much dominate and overwhelm anything, if only through sheer numbers, but I haven't had the time to commit to it yet.
