Too bad, they don't impact on survivors. I'm pretty sure I already tried hitting one of you jerks in the back with one after explaining "This is going to be funny", and then had an "Awww..." moment.

Even if it doesn't hit you directly it will at least make a horde in your general area/direction.

Speaking of tanks, has anyone encountered one in the demo?

I've seen two. First one I saw was at the beginning of the second map, at the stairs, and second time was at the end of the big part area on the second map. I think the suckers have more HP now, or the weapons are weaker. Whichever it is, they're harder to kill now. Both times were on advanced though.

Oh and, the new snipers... NOT the weapons to take down tanks. Nuh-uh.

Yep, in same places as Jawni mentioned. They look weird now; bald, pink and slightly chubby.

Also speaking of Witches, are there any in the demo? I just figured it would switch between the Tank and the Witch like it does in the first L4D but I've yet to see one after playing it ten times.

Oh yeah, they're out there. I've seen one by the exit to the park and another in the gauntlet.

Yup. I've seen a couple too. Crowned one too just today. It somehow felt a lot easier than before.

I got the (360) demo today, and from a short play through I'm actually impressed. I was skeptical when the game was announced so soon after the first, and I didn't know how the new features would play in, but so far I'm loving it.

The new special infected seem pretty awesome. The charger was so entertaining, I had a blast watching my friends get dominated and pushed across the level. The first time a jockey jumped on me it was truly a WTF moment, and also enjoyable. The spitter proved to be pretty annoying and before I knew what the hell her deal was all about, she got me pretty good a time or two. The common infected with riot gear proved to be a challenge in a jam too. The boomer bile in a jar was awesome, I had no idea what was going on when my buddy threw one on a zombie, but it has a lot of potential for great use.

The melee weapons were alright. It's not a deal breaker or anything, and I can see the novelty wearing off pretty soon, unless the chainsaw is amazing. My only question is how they will come into play with Versus. Will using a melee weapon pretty much mean unlimited 'shove' with that? Maybe somebody who's played Versus on the PC can let me in.

Witches always spawn in the park area for me.

I've only got 2 witches in 7 plays.

They're always wondering witches (since it's daylight).

Encountered one in the park just this last time I played it. I forgot they were able to walk around in L4D 2 so when I literally ran into her I about sh*t myself. >_<

Also turns out the bile doesn't work when you throw it at her, I threw it at her just as she started running after me and she just killed all of the infected. :/

Well the witch has always had that pushback when she runs into someone that she isn't directly chasing. I'd imagine the same would apply to the infected, and they'd be shoved out of the way while she ran through.

Yeah which is what I figured would happen anyways. I was at least hoping the infected would beat the crap out of her while shes tearing you to shreds but nope.

That's just no fun.
