No official release date for any region, as far as I'm aware. Japan's ETA is supposedly Q1 2009, so probably somewhere between September and December of next year.

358/2 Days itself has only been out since the end of May in Japan, so it's not terribly surprising once you've taken that into consideration.

This is the main reason the series' popularity is dying, though. Takes them two to four years to release ~30 hour games, the majority of which are just minor revisions and side stories. And they're still announcing the games too damn early; the abstract theories and fan-made hype dwarfs anything Nomura himself does with the games.

Good point. I never really thought about it like that. I just have to agree though. I mean I thought I'd find myself still playin any KH. Now where am I, you ask. Well, just read my location...

They really need to get their priorities straight...or at least speed up the development process, if possible of course. Other than that...like you mentioned, stop releasing info on a game that we still have wait almost a d@%$ year for...

Birth By Sleep's Japanese release date was announced as January 9th; still no word on a North American release date. May would be the absolute minimum, I would think, but I still don't see Square Enix releasing it anywhere near Final Fantasy XIII.

As far as getting their priorities straight, I'm not going to hold my breath. By the time Final Fantasy Versus XIII releases in North America six and a half to seven years will have passed between its announcement at E3 and its release.
