Me and my friend were recently talking about a possibilty of a remake of RE2. That would be great but I hope it's not just for the wii and theres a Xbox 360 version.

Making it a wii exclusive makes the most sense, it'll be cheap, still have vastly improved graphics, and obviously offer a new gameplay style with the wiimote, don't be surprised if there's no 360 or ps3 version.

The only thing I'm if-y about with this is the "viewpoints similar to RE4" thing. If this entire game is over-the-shoulder, I'm not sure how I'll feel about it.

Oh man, any game where RE has actual zombies in it is ok by me. ...yes, even dead aim which sucked. It was *OK*.

This is a big if for me. If they can do it right. If it works well with the wii. I need to see more of it before I commit. RE2 is one of my favorite RE games btw.

Hey folks, speaking of R.E.2...I've played a few rounds recently after a long time off. I just now noticed that in Leon's run there are 5 Red Herbs to be had, but only 4 in Claire's game. Leon gets one in the Basement Dog Kennel where the Manhole is, but there's nothing there for Claire, and I can't find any except the standard 4 where they always are (Library, Club Key/Gear Puzzle Hallway, Basement Dog Alley, and Moth/Computer Room Hallway).

Any info...?

I'd advise you to play RE4 wii edition just to show you how well the wiimote actually works. The precision with the wiimote in that game was awesome, so long as you have your sensitivity up. If RE2 is remade and has an over the shoulder viewpoint, I'm sure it'll be great.

I would be really bummed out if it was a Wii Excl. But seeing from capcom's perspective, it is much easier this way. Cause they won't need to have top of the line graphics if they go only for Nintendo. So I don't wanna get my hopes up just. I am still into MGS 4 anyway.

Yeah RE2 dual shock version had the best minigames with Extreme Battle and the 4th survivor Hunk.
