Canadian Wrestling Cartel - Leading the revolution!
What is it? Canadian Wrestling Cartel (CWC) is a wrestling promotion based out of Ottawa, Ontario, and run by former Canadian professional wrestler Jim Nicholson. Now, while it is not strictly a garbage wrestling federation, Nicholson is trying to start a "wrestling revolution", so there will be a lot of interesting, possibly never-before-seen stuff that can be done. Plus, Nicholson still lives with the old UFZ "bloodshed = ratings" mentality, so many of the big Pay-Per-View matches with be complete bloodbaths. CWC has a standard four-sided ring, with silver steel ring posts, red ropes, a blue mat, and a black ring apron. Nothing fancy, just cheap steel guardrails around the ring. CWC does not have an incredibly large budget, though Nicholson does have quite a bit of money. There is not a "TitanTron" or anything like that, just two black curtains with a giant CWC logo sign above them. Until further notice, all CWC wrestling events will be held in the Ottawa Auditorium. A weekly podcast called "CWC Overdrive" will be run every Monday. If you want to join, just fill out this form. Character Name: Please be original, if the name is too unoriginal, we may force you to change it. Character's Real Name (Optional): Less original, but no real wrestler or real stage names allowed. Nicknames: Does your wrestler have any nicknames? Height: Keep it realistic, nothing over 7'11" Weight: Again, keep it realistic, nothing exceeding 510. Ethnicity: Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, etc. Birthdate/Age: MM/DD/YY format Please Alignment: Face/Heel/Tweener Appearance: What do they look like? Attire: What are they wearing? If backstage differs from ring please specify. Entrance Music: What song do they enter to? Make sure to post in the Information thread to make sure your music isn't taken. Trademark Moves: You may have three, if you like. Finishing move: This is the move your wrestler hits to finish the match. Rare Finisher: You may only have one, this is a PPV or feud ending finisher. Other Moves/Fighting Style: You can either give me ten other moves or a specific fighting style. Staff: Owner: Jim Nicholson: Formerly the Heel professional wrestler known as Pyro, and formerly employed by Underground Fighting Zone. After UFZ went under, Nicholson vowed his next venture would be successful, and he hopes to start a "wrestling revolution" with CWC. He hopes to bring the fans the newest, next "big thing" in wrestling. Although, Nicholson still lives with the old UFZ mentality of "bloodshed = ratings" so a lot of the big pay-per-view matches will be complete bloodbaths. Commentators: Play-By-Play: James Locksaw: Face, also formerly a wrestler. He knows a lot about wrestling, and brings his humourous, quick-witted attitude that made him famous during his wrestling career to commentating. He is extremely patriotic and widely regarded as one of the best Canadian wrestling announcers today, his natural charisma just helps him to back that up. Colour: Nicholas Hunter: One of the few American staff members employed by CWC, he is a former CNN news anchor, and still bitter about losing his job. That transfers over into his commentary, where he is cold, bitter, and takes his anger out on the wrestlers. He sometimes degenerates from commentating into yelling and ranting furiously, which has made him James Locksaw's favourite commentator, and Locksaw often makes fun of him and taunts him for his short-temper. Interviewers: Spike Roderick Evans: Formerly PWW wrestler Spike Angel, he feels he's better than everybody else because he's had bit parts in a few movies and because he lives in L.A. His ego has gotten him into a lot of trouble before, and chances are it will again, expecially with the wrestlers. SJ Angel: Another former PWW and BKW wrestler and emo employee of the year. After a losing streak for most of his career, he realized that life sucks, then you die. He can usually be found backstage weeping and is only made more depressed when he is constantly berated by wrestlers he interviews for being emo. He ususally ends every interview in tears, but he's a friend of Jim Nicholson's, so he's got the job. Nigella Nyhoff: Being the only female interviewer, she's usually flirted with quite a bit. But she's a black belt in jujitsu, so she can defend herself pretty well. She's not easy by any means, and the wrestlers who flirt with her often end up on the recieving end of a verbal bashing and threats to their physical well-being. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and if she doesn't like you, by the end of the interview, you'll know. Entrance Music CWC Theme: Seether - "Remedy" CWC Overdrive Theme: Disturbed - "Stricken" Jim Nicholson: Nine Inch Nails - "The Hand That Feeds" Finishers None yet...

So... No takers? Too bad, I guess it's too early and I haven't built up the reputation to attempt running an e-fed again. If nobody has joined by next Sunday (not this coming one, the one after), I'd like to have this closed. But until then, it is not too late, you may still join if you wish.
Thank you.
