Questions Regarding GWPS 11!

I've tried to cut down on how much I post in information/rules threads. Because I was told it gets to be too much. It's also been about a year since our last series, so there is probably lots of things I forgot.

So basically, use this one thread for any and all GWPS related questions. Rules I may have forgotten, something missing from previous seasons, anything that you haven't found the answer to can be posted here, and I'd be glad to answer them for you.

I would encourage you to read all the threads first, though. That way we can make sure it wasn't already answered before I answer here/add it to a thread!

(Note: as I said, there is probably a lot of stuff I forgot to include in various places in an effort to cut down the text, so this thread will/might help me to add new rules or remove ones or change things, whatever.)

I know that I won't be (unless it is the weekend). And chances are that Eye won't be hosting that time frame as well.

There won't be as many, but I'll wait for the other hosts to let you know about them.

There are European people that join. I personally try to mix up the times I host. In the past they've been anywhere from Noon eastern to Midnight eastern. If I need to find a host that can host more regularly at earlier hours, I will.

I think there could be enough people we trust to do a good job hosting if earlier games are needed, so yeah, that would probably be the easiest fix.

Tom doesn't work Wednesdays usually, so he might be able to host some Wednesday afternoons, I'll have sporadic afternoon games. Plus this season will go right through the holidays, so I'm sure you're bound to get more than just a day or two off.

Yeah, most of my games will be starting around 7-9 PM EST because of my work but I will be doing random early afternoon games on Wednesdays and possibly Tuesdays as well since I usually have a half day then.

That's really good to know. You'll have to stay on AIM more so we can stay more coordinated.

When does the final table play? I'm leaving on vacation on December 18th, and I'm sure I could get 10 games in before then, but I won't be back until around the 2nd or 3rd of January. I may have internet access while I'm there, but I definately will not know if I have 2 hours to dedicate to play a game.

The series should end the last day of December but I don't think we've ever had a final table even a couple days after the end. It's usually a week from the end of the series but nothing is definite.

Nope, the one that looks good.

That looks like it says sdm9 on the lower half.

I'll post the three I have in a minute. One is ready but I have to convert the other two files.

Apparently the third on was built in CMYK and when it transfered to RGB it got muddy as hell so I didn't include it. I might throw together a few more in the coming days. They should be the right proportions just scaled up.

Thanks for that, I'm currently using the white one, but may switch to the black at some point. Was a decently hard choice actually.

By the way Cole, I don't agree yours are better, and the way I see it saying that will only make things better for those of us who like to rotate between card backings.

The Table Name will always be the Host's name.

If I hosted a game, it would show up as "Alu's Game"

When I was out of the game, it automatically closed the poker game window for me. I noticed when everyone else was out, they stayed in the game.

Is there an option somewhere for this or something?

When you are one of the final two players the game window will close as soon as the game ends. If you finish third or worse you can stick around, but it closes on everyone in the game when it finishes.

What Spiner said is right, the game automatically closes. But it doesn't matter, the lobby will have everyone in it.

Just for future reference, I'd very much be grateful if some of the games during the week started at like 6~7pm EST. That would still be 1~2am for me, but seeing I stay up until 3am anyways, I could possibly get to join a few games.

Then again, if there's more games at earlier times during the weekends for me to get my sit-ins, there might not be a need for that.
