Yeah, because I totally counted radishes there too. :rolleyes: There was at least one lettuce response that I grouped in there, so I count it as an inexact answer to spinach.

Spinach is only like lettuce in that it is "A green"...Cabbage is a reasonable "substitute" for lettuce that people would actually use (say if there was some problem with the lettuce harvest or whatever that year), spinach is not though.

All we ever do is steal though...

And its harder to steal when your opponent is allowed four or five strikes per round.

Take this round for instance. If "lettuce" had not been accepted as some Twilight Zone equivalent of "spinach," they'd have two strikes on them now. Alice! had his laptop stolen and is unlikely to respond within 24 hours. That would/will be their third strike, and we could/can steal by guessing the #1 answer, taking the round, and btw generating our own damn points to boot.

You have to generate points to steal regardless. I'm just saying the opportune time to steal is when only one answer remains, although reaching that point to begin with is obviously harder.

We're really not interested in the 15 or so points answer 4 and 6 are worth. We'd prefer to steal and take the round with the #1 answer, after our opponents have failed and struck out - with 3 strikes, not 13.

Which sucks, because a Team that lost last Match could go on to take the whole thing, while an undefeated team in Match the First is eliminated for doing the same thing now.
