Final Fantasy V/VI Advance GameShark Codes

I looked on Game Shark and found Final Fantasy V Advance (http://xs.gameshark.com/xploder/xploderui.asp?PID=94&SID=99891&gameid=19525&tab=gc) and Final Fantasy VI Advance (http://xs.gameshark.com/xploder/xploderui.asp?PID=94&SID=99891&gameid=19872&tab=gc) codes thinking that they might be able to be put into the Game Shark. I found a Game Shark and I thought to use that for the codes. Once I started to put the (M) in, I started to realize that they are not the right codes because in the first line I got to "910AD66C" and it went to a new line while the first line was "910AD66CB9B3"

How are these not connecting?

Are you sure it is a Gameshark and not a Codebreaker. Because Codebreaker usually uses 8 line codes.

On the cheat device is a shark like thing and when I turn it on, the beginning screen (besides the initial Gameboy welcome) shows Gameshark up top and the dorsal and tail fins of a shark coming out of water filled with 1's and 0's right below it.
