Right, Zio's given me permission to take over the forum. I'd like to thank him for the work he put into GCW. It was fun while it lasted. Similarly with Dean and WPW.
Now, though, we need to move forward. I'm no Dean, Zio, Joe or Vash, but I do have something that they don't. I want this to be a team effort. There is no doubt that they had the talent to pull off running a fed by themselves, as they have proven by doing so in the past, but the problem is that if one person goes inactive due to whatever reasons then that is the fed dead. I want to eliminate that problem.
I want a team of dedicated results writers who will be willing to write every week. Now, I know that people have vacations and ****. That is fine. I’m not expecting 24/7 dedication, but I am expecting a level of commitment. If you say that you can write one week then I want you to write. Take your laptop to the theatre if you need, Josh. Results will be shortish. Not two lines and a winner, but not essays either. CWA had a decent length. Half a page or so size 12 on Microsoft Word is fine. We’re gonna have a focus on we’ll write what we can handle. If we can only fit in six matches and one card a week then I’m afraid that is how it will have to be. No second show to accommodate people’s third wrestlers getting a match. It would also be good if you, in turn, only took on what you could handle. If you can’t handle five characters (as in, if you aren’t Jay) then don’t create all of them as your primary characters will inevitably suffer.
So yeah, I don’t care if you think that you can write one match a week or five and a main event. If you have the commitment to write then you are welcome aboard. I also don’t care if you think that your writing is poor. Everybody has to start somewhere and quality will improve with confidence and experience. I will be there to read over and make sure that things make sense. We want a good atmosphere with people having fun and working as a team.
Now, of course, if results writing isn’t for you then don’t worry. We want thriving divisions and great competition, so we will welcome whichever character or characters that you want to use. I’ll always be here to listen to storylines and hopefully improve as a fed head with your advice. I’m hoping that you will always feel that you can talk to me.
So, basically, there are the plans. Initially this thread will be for discussion, suggestions and throwing your name forward as a results writer. Everybody who wants a chance will get one.
If you don’t want to post here then feel free to shoot me a PM discussing anything or asking for my MSN, which a lot of you already have.
Let’s get GW e-fedding back on track, guys!
