this is supersimon's rpg. he might not even like the thread i made. if he does not want interactions then there will not be any. i will not attempt to change his rpg unless he wants it that way.

Well yeah. I know Simon enough to trust his judgement. I reeeaaally want him to get on...

What I think would maybe work would be to have one or two group RP's going at a time, run by SuperSimon, encompassing nearly the whole HP RPG community, or maybe have multiple RP's run by many people, like SoB. Either way, since you want to run it based on levels, the individual profile threads could stay where they are, and more or less just be tasks to be done to level up. Or a set of universal tasks could be assembled, with temporary updaters guiding people through them.

Also, I think maybe a little bit more could be required for profile, like appearance and personality, and surely which house the character is going to be in. I don't know if you had something planned for that already, but I personally would like to choose my own, because random picking could really get annoying. Perhaps an updater could examine a personality section and make a choice from that, although I think maybe people would try to influence their way into a house.That itself wouldn't be so bad, but if an updater misread the updatee's intention for the character, there may be problems.

Also, I think a different place should be picked for the group thread, if there even will be one. Like, the Great Hall or maybe an all house common room like Miss Understood mentioned. Platform 9 3/4 just doesn't seem like the place, since I can't imagine them staying there forever. Although, I do like the fact of it being the interaction place temporarily, since all characters will be knew, but I think it should eventually be changed.

Again, SuperSimon runs this. It's his decision. Although I wholeheatedly support your suggestions, we should wait until he shows up and can fill us in.

To add from what I know from fact, Supersimon and myself are not going to be picking houses for our updatees at random. During the sortying hat ceremony, we are going to give you a short 5 question quiz. Based on your anwsers, that is going to be the house you will be put in.

i chose platform 9 3/4 because it is before it started. you can't be in a common room or the great hall before you get to hogwartz. my thread will also be closed if and when supersimon wants to make his own... at the very least it will be renamed

Well, I PM'ed Simon about what to do about how to start off the RP. He hasn't PM'ed me back, and if he doesn't within the next few days, i'm going to start off my updatees where I think that they should start.
