what is in the resort area pond

at the resort area there is a man in the swimming pool, if you talk to him he will tell you that the ruler of the area lurks in the pond and you should fish there. i did as he said and all i got were some high level magikarp. do any of you know what is there? i just want to know if it is worth my time.

its a lvl 100 magikarp. im not sure if it has any special moves or attributes,though.

the highest level ive seen was 67

If your playing Platinum, it is just a Magikarp. They can be found at any level (1-100) which makes him the highest level wild pokémon in the game. It is, however, no different from other Magikarp found in the game.
