Making a Torterra for in-game use only

Ok well the title says mostly everything. Wondering what would be a good moveset for my Turtwig up till Torterra and then on for the League? I normally use an Empoleon but I want sort of a challenge with this play through. I have Platinum by the way so the moveset could be based from whatever is available from the start to the end of the Pokemon League. I also tend to just level my starter throughout the whole game so I'd need an offensive move set I think.

You'll probably want something along the lines of Earthquake, Wood Hammer (Pastoria Heart Scale move tutor), Stone Edge (TM), and Crunch or Superpower (move tutor somewhere). If you don't expect to be switching around very much or using any Pokémon other than Torterra, Crunch is probably preferable to Superpower so you don't lose stats. If you're worried about PP use Rock Slide (TM) instead of Stone Edge.

Thanks for the Torterra moveset. Could you also tell me a good moveset for Infernape? I'm trying to see which one I would like more.

Grass knot (tm) Close combat flareblitz/flame thrower and a filler such as rock climb works well.
