Problem with Member Pass

Hey guys.. just a problem here.

I got the member pass from the Mystery gift option via WiFi & went through the drills to save after receiving, but it still won't let me into the Locked Inn in Canalave city. Any ideas why it won't work?

If he got it via Wi-Fi it'd be legit no matter what. It worked fine for me so I don't know what the issue could be. Did you get it from the delivery guy?

Yes, I got it from Mystery Gift via WiFi and got it from the delivery man in a Pokemart, but when I go to the Inn at Canalave the door is still locked. I tried it on my girlfriend's copy of Platinum and it won't work either.. did I do something wrong? Would setting the clock time cause the door to lock either?

You have to have completed the Cresselia "event" in-game and freed the little boy from his sleep. So just talk to Cresselia, get the Lunar wing, and wake the boy up. Then the pass should work.
