So, Canada finally received PSN Cards.. so since I have a handful of credit from trade-ins at EB Games, I decided to go buy a $50 PSN Card.

I already purchased Bomberman Ultra ($9.99) and while I love Bomberman in itself, I was kind of disappointed to the lack of online games, there was only 3 or 4 running at the time. I'm hoping that it's only because of the time of day or because that Bomberman Ultra is relatively new.

Anyhow, I have roughly $40 remaining and I was wondering if anybody could make some recommendations as to what would be worth purchasing? What games themself are worth their price tag or are a steal? Are any of the Burnout Paradise expansions exceptional/must-haves?

Any recommendations are appreciated.

No don't get Tekken online. Tekken 6 is coming out this year so if you're interested in tekken wait for that.

Moved to the sub-forum. TD look around, there are lots to get.

Crash Commando - A MUST.

Fat Princess - comes out probably in a month or less, A MUST.

Heavy Weapon, Flower, the Pixeljunk games.

Check the PSN game threads, see what we all enjoy.

But CRASH COMMANDO. We can get more GW games going.

Crash Commando is a good idea.

Also Pixeljunk Monsters is worth every penny, especially if you have someone to play multiplayer with you.

Yeah, I played the demo of Crash Commando. I will probably pick it up actually the next time I'm online on my PS3.. since it's only $10ish and apparently it's fairly popular around here and is really good. I wasn't that good at it in the demo, but hopefully I will get better at it with practice.

I never really saw anything about Fat Princess until right now, I just went and look it up now and that will probably be a purchase for me for sure. Has the price of it been announced?

Also, just a small note semi-related. Is there any way to form seperate folder things under the Game thing for Demos and PSN Games, or are they just going to be stuck in the same folder?

Hit Triangle on any game, and the only editable thing is the Folders destination.

And Fat Princess is an official PSN release, so it won't be more than 15 I would assume.

If you think you are up for it, try Wipeout HD. But not yet since an expansion pack is on the way and they may release a new version of the game.

Crash Commando is an essential purchase, as is PixelJunk Monsters. The latter, as Nico said, has an outrageous amount of replay value if you have a friend to play with. The girlfriend (she loves it) and I fully completed it on co-op a couple of months ago, and are now trying to perfect every level on hardcore. Got about half of them so far, and even now there are many more months left in this one. Some other thoughts:

Super Stardust HD: Decent Geometry Wars style shooter. Won't last forever but fun while it does.

PixelJunk Eden: Quirky, difficult, but oddly relaxing. Download the demo to see if you like it.

Noby Noby Boy: Cheap as chips and highly original. One you should just play for the sake of it, though it is unlikely it will last you very long.
