For two pokemon to complement my team. Also, better moves, or suggestions. Note that my team is still in progress, as I still have the eighth badge to obtain. But so far, here is what I have:
Infernape: Close Combat, Mach Punch [Will definitely get replaced], Fire Spin [Will definitely get replaced], Flame Wheel [Will be replaced with Flamethrower]
Luxray: Thunder Fang, Crunch, Charge [Needs replaced, don't know with what], Spark [Also needs replaced]
Gardevoir: Confusion [Needs replaced], Psychic, Magical Leaf [may replace with Energy Ball], Calm Mind
Gyarados: Ice Fang, Surf [Idea listed below], Bite [Will get replaced], Hydro Pump
Now, I'm thinking, for the fifth addition, Rhyperior with Earthquake, Blizzard/Ice Beam, Stone Edge, and Rock Wrecker/Megahorn
I don't have any ideas for a sixth.
Also, For Gyarados, I was thinking of replacing Surf with either Waterfall or Thunderbolt, and if I replace it with Thunderbolt I will remove Luxray from the party to replace it with perhaps a powerful ghost type.
I know it seems like I go for purely offensive moves, and I would love to have suggestions that attribute not only to power but to all around effectiveness. I need suggestions badly.

First off, I'll say that you should look at your Pokémon's stats when deciding what attacks to use. Your Gyarados should have low SAtk compared to its Atk, which indicates it wants to use physical moves like Waterfall instead of special moves like Surf and Hydro Pump.
Ideal movesets:
Infernape: Close Combat, Flamethrower, Nasty Plot, Grass Knot.
Luxray: Dunno, it's hard to make this guy good anyway, it doesn't learn enough useful attacks to compliment its base Atk.
Gardevoir: Psychic, Wish, Hypnosis, Energy Ball. I'm a little off on this one, I'm rusty with Gardevoir.
Gyarados: Dragon Dance, Ice Fang, Waterfall, Earthquake.
If you use Rhyperior, use my advice from the start of this post, and don't use special attacks (e.g. Blizzard, Ice Beam). Also don't use recharge moves like Rock Wrecker. You get a better damage output from the two turns it takes to use Rock Wrecker by using Stone Edge twice, and your opponent doesn't get a free turn to pound on you. For a Rhyperior you want a moveset something like Earthquake, Stone Edge, Megahorn, Swords Dance/Avalanche/Ice Fang.

Seerow's sets look fine, although for Gardevoir you could try a double-status set with Will-O-Wisp over Energy Ball or Wish (depending on whether you prefer healing or greater coverage). For Gyarados you could also try either a Taunt set (Taunt over Ice Fang) or a Choice set (Band or Scarf with a random physical move like Stone Edge over DD).

Alright, I'm having difficulty getting to Earthquake right now, in Wayward Cave.
Anyway, I never thought to check whether or not to use a special or physical attack. I'll make sure to take that into consideration when choosing moves. And what about a sixth pokemon? Should I go with a Ghost type or perhaps something else? And since Luxray isn't exactly the best choice for an electric type, should I go with perhaps a Raichu?
EDIT: Instead, I was looking around and found what I thought were the best two options to replace Luxray: Ampharos or Magnezone. Raichu is weaker than Luxray in all respects, and these two were the best Electric types I could find. Can you provide good movesets for these pokemon?

Raichu is weaker except for the moves it learns.
Id go for a Magnazone. T-bolt, flash cannon um filler filler I guess, theres nothign really else it will learn that will benefit you much for ingame.

Make sure you go in the hidden entrance to Wayward Cave. I think Earthquake is in that way.
Magnezone is the best of those two, but its movepool is sadly quite slim. Your best bet would be something like Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Magnet Rise, Flash Cannon. Electric/Steel isn't exactly the most optimum attacking type coverage, but it's the best you'll get outside of a good Hidden Power. You could also use Explosion instead of one of the middle two moves if you can get hold of the TM.

Alright. So I'll go Magnezone with those moves.
The Rhyperior I think will be best with Avalanche, but I plan on using that TM. So I'll go Ice Fang.
And for a sixth, I'm looking at a Weavile with Shadow Claw, Night Slash, Avalanche, Swords Dance.
SuperSimon

Go ice shard. Weavile is to fast for Avalanche. Ice punch if you can get it though.

Good point. So Weavile gets Ice Punch, Rhyperior gets Avalanche. It's better suited to Rhyperior anyway.
And for clarification, here's the preliminary final six:
Infernape: Close Combat, Flamethrower, Nasty Plot, Grass Knot
Gardevoir: Psychic, Calm Mind, Hypnosis, Energy Ball
Gyarados: Dragon Dance, Ice Fang, Waterfall, Earthquake
Rhyperior: Earthquake, Stone Edge, Megahorn, Avalanche
Magnezone: Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Magnet Rise, Flash Cannon
Weavile: Shadow Claw, Night Slash, Ice Punch, Swords Dance
I went Calm Mind over Wish on Gardevoir for that Special Attack boost. Psychic will be nearly unstoppable.
It seems like all weaknesses are covered. Is there anything that seems out of place or needs fixed?

not right away, especially for ingame. It might work for competitive if youd like with proper Ivs/Evs/adding hidden powers

It's mostly for in game. I'll also use the team to battle friends, but it won't be anything like actual competitive battling. I generally don't bother with EVs and all that, mostly because when I tried it before I got very bored and didn't feel like playing anymore. Trying to find the right pokemon to battle can be daunting.
On a related note, I now have the six pokemon in my team, and now I just have to work on getting the moves. I had 5 evolutions within the hours of this topic and it took a bit of work, but I got it. Thanks guys!
And I'm just going to continue this topic. What would be good items for the pokemon to hold?

When in doubt go leftovers. For Ingame items dont matter. you can run wacan berry on gyarados, I dont like lifeorb but if you do it can go on rhyperior infernape and Weaville

If you're using only damaging attacks a Choice item (Band/Scarf/Specs) is worth considering. Otherwise, as Simon said, use Leftovers, and Life Orb can be handy on Pokémon using attacks of more than one type (by type I mean special/physical).

So the only pokemon in my team that Life Orb would really be suited to is Infernape. It's going to be a while until I get the Choice Band/Scarf/Specs, and Leftovers. So for now I'll just go with the Plates.
SuperSimon

Plates arent good, seeing as they only boost one move type.
Life orb works well for pokemon with stat ups also so you can change moves and still get a powerboost.

Yeah, SuperSimon's right. I knew there was something I was forgetting.
Bear in mind that if you use any Choice items they force you to use the same move until you switch out. So make sure you use the right move. xD

Another question, no point making a new thread for it.
I'm about to hit Victory Road, finally, and I'd like to know if there is any 2 pokemon that can learn all 8 HMs. This way I can have all 8 while I go around Sinnoh to explore/get items, and still have 4 pokemon that I actually use.
EDIT: Actually, Bibarel can learn 6 of them so I'll just put the 4 I need most on him.

Bibarel and Drifloon work good.

I seem to remember Pelipper working well (although that was RSE so the lack of Dive might make it worse). Simon's combo is good; what I like to do is to have a Bibarel with Cut, Rock Smash, Rock Climb and Strength, have a Staraptor with Fly and Defog (but keep it as a major battler, its Attack is very good) and either Empoleon or another water type with Surf and Waterfall (can also be used as a battler). Then the other two are whatever you want.

I generally don't like using HMs as battle moves, they're usually weaker compared to other moves. The only ones I really use in battle is Waterfall and Surf.
I found Bibarel and Tropius can learn all 8 HMs, allowing me a good 4 slots in my party for the others.
Seerow

Waterfall and Surf are generally considered to be the best physical and special Water moves respectively, and I usually try to find something good that can use them well for my squad. But yeah, the other HM moves should not be used on your main party Pokémon if you can avoid it.
SuperSimon

I went with Drifloon with fly cut and defog
and bibarel with surf, strength, rocksmash, rock climb (I think)
I had waterfall on my floatzel that i battled with.

So,
I bred Ditto and Snorlax and got Snorlax rather than Munchlax. What'd I do wrong?
And I'm switching out Gyarados for Kingdra, but I don't have and can't find a Dragon Scale. I know where to get one, it's just that I've been looking for ages and can't get it. Does anyone have one?
EDIT: I know what I did wrong. I didn't have the Full Incense attached. Darn. Well, I'll try another one. Still, about the Dragon Scale, please.

You get them from a wild horsea, seadra, dratini or dragonair, after you have the national dex.

I hope I'm not posting a dead thread, but if you don't want a magnezone, you could do a Luxray with Crunch, Swagger, Magnet Rise, and Thunder Fang.

You are posting in a dead thread. Are you not capable of looking at the dates on posts? They appear above the username of the user who made the post.
That'll be a caution. Try looking at post dates next time if you think the thread might be dead. Anything that isn't stickied and has gone a few weeks without posts is dead. This one's been more than a month.
