Official Game Instructions
How to Play
It has come to my attention that many of you do not know how to play. Here is a guide on how to play wolf.
The basic game structure is as follows: I will open a new thread each day. The thread is open for anything and everything. Your main goal as a townie is to deduce whom amongst you is a member of the mafia, convince everyone, and get a majority vote for that member. At the end of the day phase, whomever has the most votes will be banned (or killed) and can no longer play the game. If they continue to post I will close the thread until Zero or Insane Man can come through, delete the posts and warn the member.
Once the day phase is over, the thread will be closed. This is when the powers for each role takes over. If a player has a power with an action, they may choose to either use that power or not. For example, the seer will PM me a member's name that he wishes an IP check on, and in the morning they will have a return PM telling them the person's role. This applies for all roles, by morning whatever powers they activated, their results will be apparent to either solely them or everyone.
When it gets to around 10 AM, I will open a new day phase thread. An updated member's list will be posted, as well as who died and what role they were, along with a neat little story as to how they died. Then the day phase will commence in the same manner.
If you are a mafia member, your goal is to pretend to be a townie and pretend to be hunting for the mafia members as well. At night, or during the day, you will all collaborate to decide whom to kill each night. By 10 AM at the latest I must have a PM sitting in my box naming a player you wish to kill. And that will happen, provided another role does not interfere. The only way the mafia can win is to reduce the living number of townies to the same number as living mafia members, which causes a stalemate and mafia victory.
The only other faction I added in this game is the Jekyll/Hyde faction. Jekyll will appear to everyone but Hyde to be a doctor and will have the same power the doctor has as described in his role description. Hyde will appear to everyone but Jekyll to be a regular mafia member and will act alongside the mafia members. The only way they can win is for one them to be the last men standing. If all mafia are dead and Jekyll/Hyde are still alive, the game will continue until they are dead. Because they are the same person, one cannot live without the other. If either gets lynched or murdered, the other will also die, so they must work together as they are dependent on each other. If one happens to get axed for activity's sake, however, his role will be reassigned at random, but I pray this will not be the case.

Rules
This is regular wolf just with a new and different spin on it.
I will try to keep the day phase times uniform. Day phases will begin around 10 AM EST. It will end around 10 PM EST. If I get all of the night phase actions before I go to sleep that night, then I will reopen early. You can PM me your action at any time, day or night. If it gets around the time to open and your action is not in, tough crackers. If I mess up and don't close the night phase until late, then I will allow time.
Play is simple. When the day phase begins, everyone must vote and argue over whom to ban from GameWinners. After the banhammer is dropped, their role will be revealed. At this point night phase will begin and no thread discussion will be allowed as I will have the thread closed. When the day phase opens again, the results from the night phase will be posted, rinse wash repeat.
IMPORTANT: All night phase actions must be PMed to me and me alone. I am running this game therefore all communication is with me in regards to role actions.
If the wolves set up an IRC chat, invite me if you will so I can see your evil doings and laugh.
That's really about it. Questions are always allowed and once the game starts, it'd be best for you to PM me questions just in case it might reveal your role.

THE SCENARIO
As everyone knows, recently the fantastic Super Moderator Crazy Jaime stepped down from his position. While everyone was lamenting the loss, a lonely envelope appeared in Al's mailbox at his residence. Unmarked and with no return address, he cautiously opened the letter to read it's contents.
Al,
You will shut down GameWinners immediately, or suffer the consequences. We know everyone's names and locations. We have men watching them.
If your site continues on, the streets will run red with the blood of your members. You have 24 hours to comply before we begin murdering one person each night.
Heed the example we made of Jaime... you have been warned.
The GodFather
Terrified, he called Jaime's cell phone. "Police, whom am I speaking with?"
"This is Al, webmaster of GameWinners.com, where is my moderator, Jaime?"
"Uh, sir, I hate to break the news to you but Jaime was murdered last night."
The phone drops to the floor. As it slowly shatters into pieces from the impact, he races to his computer and logs in to GameWinners to call a town meeting together.
"Friends, I must say that this news is shocking to me. I cannot fathom as to the reason why they are attacking my site, but we must find these people and take them out before they can do any more damage. For Jaime's sake, at least, if nothing else..."
"Why can't we just go to the police?" Apollo asks.
"It's too risky, they probably own the police," replied Ben.
"How would you know that, BEN, or should I say WEASEL!!" shouted Klowny. "We all have to take into account the fact these people are probably among us right this very moment, misleading us and driving us away from the truth. We don't know who they are or what they want, but god damnit let's find them!"
"YOU SOUND SUSPICIOUS, KLOWNY!" Coleman shouted. "How dare you accuse me, Cole..." And the room divulged into bickering so intense that the Dome couldn't even handle it. This was something different, it was real, and lives are on the line this time.
The Roles
Members
Al - Al is the Seer. He crashes the server each night to enable himself to check the IP of one player of his choosing to see what their role is.
Isis - Isis is the Nurse. She is able to protect one person each time the server crashes and can resuscitate them should the GW mafia come after them. She can choose to protect herself via a special syringe that can protect her an attack happen, but once used she can not protect herself again. Her protection will work against Majboothroyd.
Apollo - Apollo is the Mayor. If a tie occurs, Apollo's vote will be the deciding vote. Should Apollo have not voted in the round or for whomever the tie is between, a coin flip will decide the tie.
Beha - Beha is the Assassin. Having triumphed in the first ever assassin game, he went on to receive real life assassin training. Watching carefully from a dark corner, each time the server crashes Beha may choose to kill one person. However, being a poor college student, he could only afford a fully loaded six shooter...
Inlé_rah - Inlé_rah is the Saint. She is without fault (besides that damn é in her name!) and is so pure that if she is lynched by the GW members, the first five people to vote for her commit suicide. If there is a tie and Inlé falls by Apollo's vote, only he dies as the blood was on his shoulders.
shortkut - shortkut is the gypsy. Throughout the game, kut is a regular member. However, thrice during the game, he may pick a member during the active server time and request their role. THIS MUST BE DONE IN THE ACTIVE SERVER TIME AND ACTIVE SERVER TIME ONLY!
Restrictions:
If they have a role, when the server crashes kut will be able to use their ability.
If it is the mafia member that sends in the ban, the mafia's ban is canceled and the kut's ban is counted.
If it is the assassin, the assassin will lose one of their bullets.
If it is a premium member, they will learn of the identities of the other premium members.
If it is a regular member, kut will lose a power steal.
Premium Members - Premium Members are Freemasons. They alone know their identities and number. They only know that each other is innocent.
Regular members - They are simple members. They have no role and exist only to bicker, vote, lynch and sleep. The regular members enemies are the mafia, hackers and Avenger specifically.
Mafia
The Godfather - This is the alpha wolf. If a tie occurs among the mafia votes, The Godfather will decide the ban for the crashed server time. Also, should the assassin target The Godfather, the assassin will fall for their alt, but the next hit will be on the actual member. Everyone will know if their alt falls.
Mafia Members - No one except for the mafia members know whom each other is. No one knows what members their true identities are nor how many there are in the organization. Not until the mafia threat is eliminated will the regular members know they are victorious. The mafia's goal is to even the active player count down to the same number of standing mafia members for a victory by voting together to kill one person each night. Their enemies are regular townpeople, hackers and Duh'venger specifically.
The Ghosts of Hackers Past
About the Faction - This is a mysterious faction whose members simply exist to wreak havoc upon GW. They are their own faction entirely and they are working together to usurp the very fabric of GW. They are working together to be the last standing members, and because their activities are so widely known, their names and number of members are known across the board. The only way to win is to allow all mafia and members to be banned. Their enemies are regular members, mafia and Kagemaru specifically.
Alu - Alu is a member of this mysterious organization. Responsible for the Massacre of April Fools, he exists in this game only to wreak havoc. Once during the crashed server time, he can randomize a person's power and who it will effect, if they chose to activate it. For example, if Alu names the seer's name, a randomized person and their role will be sent back to the seer. If Alu picks a role with a limited number on their power, it will not effect the number of uses remaining. If he selects a member of the mafia, the mafia's ban is only randomized if he picks a mafia that sent a ban request in. Due to GW's firewall, however, Alu will be unable to know whether the results of his power actually worked, unless the results are made known to the public.
Majboothroyd - Majboothroyd is still raged at being de-admined and banned. His goal is to get revenge on GW by slowly banning every member of GW. The twist is, he can only ban a GW member during the active server time.
Restrictions:
If he bans a person with votes, those votes do not count towards anything unless changed. If Maj sends a member's name to be banned while the server is down, it will not count and the next active server time he will not be able to use his power. If the member Maj bans has voted in the active server time before the PM was sent, their vote will still count.
Wicked - Wicked is furious because of the loss of his own administratory level. To attempt to regain control of GW, he is searching for a member to imitate. Once during the game, Wicked may request to assume the identity of one individual. Wicked will receive the full set of powers of that player for the rest of the game. Unfortunately, because GW can see ranking changes of members, they will all know what power Wicked gains, but still not know his identity. He cannot assume the power of another hacker.
Superfly - Superfly is the obnoxious hacker with an obnoxious power. He is able to corrupt the voting process with a bonus power as well. Superfly's vote will not count. It will appear to count to everyone, however in the final total, it will not count. If Superfly does not vote 3 separate times while the server is up, he will be put on Ban on Sight and be out of the game. He gets one chance to find and ban Kagemaru. If he is unsuccessful, the unsuccessful member will become aware of his identity and in turn report and get Superfly banned. If he is successful, however, Kagemaru will die and he will continue to live on in the shadows.
Vinny - Vinny is a sneaky bastard. He is the seer for the hackers. There is a twist, however. In order for him to receive the member's role, a majority of the remaining hackers must send me a PM authorizing this action. If Vinny is able to see someone's role, none of the other hackers will be allowed to use their powers until the next time the server crashes. If Vinny requests a person's role and not enough hackers send authorization PMs, he will get an error message in return.
Independent Roles
Avenger - Avenger is Jekyll. He has the same power as Isis, being a murse (male nurse). Ultimately, however, he will betray the townspeople and be the last person standing in the entire game. That is the only way for him to win. If Al checks Avenger's IP, he will appear as a regular nurse.
Duh'Venger - Duh'Venger is Hyde. He has the same power as the mafia members. To them, he will appear to be a regular mafia member, only himself and Jekyll will know his true identity. If Al checks Duh'Venger's IP, he will appear to be a regular mafia member.
Avenger cannot live without Duh'Venger, and vice versa. If one falls in any way, the other will fall as well. They must work together to be the last men standing and in the end will betray their respective people groups. They are an enemy and yet a friend to all. (Scarily true IRL... heh)
Kagemaru - Kagemaru is the n00b hacker trying to fit in with The Ghost of Hackers Past. Unfortunately, due to his stupidity, he does not know whom the other hackers are. He is able to troll someone each time the server crashes. Because he is a n00b, he only has a 1/6 chance of the troll being successful and ultimately leading to them leave GW. (Basically I will roll a die and if the number is 3, then it will be successful, or else it will fail.) Kagemaru will win with the hackers, however if the hackers are victorious and Kagemaru is still alive, Kagemaru will accidentally delete all of their accounts and will be the last man standing.

GMT: 3 PM - 3 AM
GMT+12: 3 AM - 3 PM (sorry guys...)
And another thing to not over-analyze: people that I use in the stories, I am not selecting them because of their roles. So DO NOT EVER assume that.
A lot of people have been messaging me about this, so let me just go ahead and address it.
Yes, if you do not play in 3 straight day phases, I'll knock you out of the game. If you have complications, being responsible and letting me know ahead of time will grant you leniency, as some have already done.
HOWEVER, I will be keeping track of people's activity. If you abuse this, I will kick you as that is entirely unfair to everyone, no matter what role you are. So if you skip two days then post in the third, and then skip the next few days and post in the third, I will send you a PM warning you, and, no matter what reason, if you miss one more day I will boot you.
This seems reasonable to me. I mean, for Christ's sake, you signed up to PLAY a game, not to WATCH a game.

The mafia reconvened after killing their own, trying to reorganize and figure out what to do next.
They began to analyze the proceedings from the previous days to figure out just who knew too much. They landed on Mr. Jack.
Setting out to achieve their goals, they went to his house late at night when they knew he would be asleep. They sent a lone assassin in to do the deed, none other, than Metal Fingers.
He snuck into the house and found whom he thought was Meta Jack hiding in his bed. Aiming the gun at Mr. Jack's head, he pulled the trigger and cringed for the expected squish. He didn't hear a sound. He opened his eyes and saw his bullet hanging in mid-air. How was this possible!
Suddenly the figure sat up. It wasn't Mr. Jack at all, but shortkut! shortkut looked at the assassin in sheer misbelief, it was none other than Crazy Jamie!
"I thought you were dead!" kut shouted.
"I pretended to be dead to help the mafia take down GW. Pay was much better and that lawyer thing completely busted. I had nowhere else to turn to."
"Well then, let it be my privilege to put you out of your sad misery," declared kut.
With that, the bullet turned around and shot right through Crazy Jamie's head, killing him instantly. He walked to the window to see the scene below.
Outside Mr. Jack's house, the mafia had gotten into a gunfight with him and Avenger. Running as fast as possible, they dove behind a tool shed, gasping for air. The gunfire stopped, kut had put up an impenetrable field inbetween them and the mafia.
"OWWWWWW!!! My leg!" screamed Mr. Jack. He had been severely injured running across his lawn.
"Don't worry Mr. Jack, I'll make sure you make it through this alive." Avenger replied.
"Thanks. You're the best, Isis." Mr. Jack said. Avenger cringed, remembering that eventually, he would have to betray this man.

Okay, here's the deal.
I am leaving Thursday morning for the airport. Tonight's day phase will close on time. HOWEVER, the day phase will open probably somewhere around 3-5 AM EST. At this point, Ford Mustang will begin to be your co-host for this game.
He will pick up slack where I am unable to work because of my inability to access the internet in Iowa. This means, send all PMs to Ford Mustang and myself.

The only way to win is to allow all mafia and members to be banned. Their enemies are regular members, mafia and Kagemaru specifically.
Alu - Alu is a member of this mysterious organization. Responsible for the Massacre of April Fools, he exists in this game only to wreak havoc. Once during the crashed server time, he can randomize a person's power and who it will effect, if they chose to activate it. For example, if Alu names the seer's name, a randomized person and their role will be sent back to the seer. If Alu picks a role with a limited number on their power, it will not effect the number of uses remaining. If he selects a member of the mafia, the mafia's ban is only randomized if he picks a mafia that sent a ban request in. Due to GW's firewall, however, Alu will be unable to know whether the results of his power actually worked, unless the results are made known to the public.
Majboothroyd - Majboothroyd is still raged at being de-admined and banned. His goal is to get revenge on GW by slowly banning every member of GW. The twist is, he can only ban a GW member during the active server time.
Restrictions:
If he bans a person with votes, those votes do not count towards anything unless changed. If Maj sends a member's name to be banned while the server is down, it will not count and the next active server time he will not be able to use his power. If the member Maj bans has voted in the active server time before the PM was sent, their vote will still count.
Wicked - Wicked is furious because of the loss of his own administratory level. To attempt to regain control of GW, he is searching for a member to imitate. Once during the game, Wicked may request to assume the identity of one individual. Wicked will receive the full set of powers of that player for the rest of the game. Unfortunately, because GW can see ranking changes of members, they will all know what power Wicked gains, but still not know his identity. He cannot assume the power of another hacker.
Superfly - Superfly is the obnoxious hacker with an obnoxious power. He is able to corrupt the voting process with a bonus power as well. Superfly's vote will not count. It will appear to count to everyone, however in the final total, it will not count. If Superfly does not vote 3 separate times while the server is up, he will be put on Ban on Sight and be out of the game. He gets one chance to find and ban Kagemaru. If he is unsuccessful, the unsuccessful member will become aware of his identity and in turn report and get Superfly banned. If he is successful, however, Kagemaru will die and he will continue to live on in the shadows.
Vinny - Vinny is a sneaky bastard. He is the seer for the hackers. There is a twist, however. In order for him to receive the member's role, a majority of the remaining hackers must send me a PM authorizing this action. If Vinny is able to see someone's role, none of the other hackers will be allowed to use their powers until the next time the server crashes. If Vinny requests a person's role and not enough hackers send authorization PMs, he will get an error message in return.
Independent Roles
Avenger - Avenger is Jekyll. He has the same power as Isis, being a murse (male nurse). Ultimately, however, he will betray the townspeople and be the last person standing in the entire game. That is the only way for him to win. If Al checks Avenger's IP, he will appear as a regular nurse.
Duh'Venger - Duh'Venger is Hyde. He has the same power as the mafia members. To them, he will appear to be a regular mafia member, only himself and Jekyll will know his true identity. If Al checks Duh'Venger's IP, he will appear to be a regular mafia member.
Avenger cannot live without Duh'Venger, and vice versa. If one falls in any way, the other will fall as well. They must work together to be the last men standing and in the end will betray their respective people groups. They are an enemy and yet a friend to all. (Scarily true IRL... heh)
Kagemaru - Kagemaru is the n00b hacker trying to fit in with The Ghost of Hackers Past. Unfortunately, due to his stupidity, he does not know whom the other hackers are. He is able to troll someone each time the server crashes. Because he is a n00b, he only has a 1/6 chance of the troll being successful and ultimately leading to them leave GW. (Basically I will roll a die and if the number is 3, then it will be successful, or else it will fail.) Kagemaru will win with the hackers, however if the hackers are victorious and Kagemaru is still alive, Kagemaru will accidentally delete all of their accounts and will be the last man standing.

And another thing to not over-analyze: people that I use in the stories, I am not selecting them because of their roles. So DO NOT EVER assume that.
A lot of people have been messaging me about this, so let me just go ahead and address it.
Yes, if you do not play in 3 straight day phases, I'll knock you out of the game. If you have complications, being responsible and letting me know ahead of time will grant you leniency, as some have already done.
HOWEVER, I will be keeping track of people's activity. If you abuse this, I will kick you as that is entirely unfair to everyone, no matter what role you are. So if you skip two days then post in the third, and then skip the next few days and post in the third, I will send you a PM warning you, and, no matter what reason, if you miss one more day I will boot you.
This seems reasonable to me. I mean, for Christ's sake, you signed up to PLAY a game, not to WATCH a game.

The mafia reconvened after killing their own, trying to reorganize and figure out what to do next.
They began to analyze the proceedings from the previous days to figure out just who knew too much. They landed on Mr. Jack.
Setting out to achieve their goals, they went to his house late at night when they knew he would be asleep. They sent a lone assassin in to do the deed, none other, than Metal Fingers.
He snuck into the house and found whom he thought was Meta Jack hiding in his bed. Aiming the gun at Mr. Jack's head, he pulled the trigger and cringed for the expected squish. He didn't hear a sound. He opened his eyes and saw his bullet hanging in mid-air. How was this possible!
Suddenly the figure sat up. It wasn't Mr. Jack at all, but shortkut! shortkut looked at the assassin in sheer misbelief, it was none other than Crazy Jamie!
"I thought you were dead!" kut shouted.
"I pretended to be dead to help the mafia take down GW. Pay was much better and that lawyer thing completely busted. I had nowhere else to turn to."
"Well then, let it be my privilege to put you out of your sad misery," declared kut.
With that, the bullet turned around and shot right through Crazy Jamie's head, killing him instantly. He walked to the window to see the scene below.
Outside Mr. Jack's house, the mafia had gotten into a gunfight with him and Avenger. Running as fast as possible, they dove behind a tool shed, gasping for air. The gunfire stopped, kut had put up an impenetrable field inbetween them and the mafia.
"OWWWWWW!!! My leg!" screamed Mr. Jack. He had been severely injured running across his lawn.
"Don't worry Mr. Jack, I'll make sure you make it through this alive." Avenger replied.
"Thanks. You're the best, Isis." Mr. Jack said. Avenger cringed, remembering that eventually, he would have to betray this man.

Okay, here's the deal.
