i just wanted 2 know if i can duplicate items in platinum like in emerald...so if i can, can sum1 plz tell how 2 i wud greatly appericatly and also if there isnt a way then my friend is full of S**t

Not the same way. You can do it using the GTS, but its pretty difficult to pull off.

Just duplicate a bunch of Pokémon holding items in Emerald and Pal Park them.

or if you dont have emerald u could try the GTS, u can only copy one poke at a time and it takes a while to get the hang of but it works.
