This thread is to the fans of Euro music...if there are even any on this site, kinda curious. So here it is...you know that classic dance music from the 90's - What is Love By Haddaway, Saturday Night by Whigfield, From Paris to Berlin by Infernal, and any fan should also know Mallorca by Loft - These are all popular Eurodance tunes. There are many not so well known tracks out there that are golden gems, not to mention from so many different countries. Being the hardcore Euro fan that I am I'd like to hear it all. What are your favorites from this genre?

#1 - 1,2,3 Keep the Spirit Alive - Jan Wayne Meets Danielle (great party jam)

#2 - Angel - Joee (Canadian artist represent, this ones a little slower, and a love ballad. Classic Euro piano beat)

#3 - Superhero Lover - Daze (Very happy, upbeat dancin tune.)

#4 - Before I Sleep - Elena (Another love ballad. Classic Euro synths. Just beautiful. I recommend the DJ Danny D remix if you can find it)

#5 - Scream For More - Kate Ryan (Classic Euro anthem, this ones a real banger and gets the party movin)

#6 - Welcome to Paradise - Spot (Another one with the classic piano beat and mixed in melodics. I like the 2nd half of the song best)

#7 - Your Free - Yomanda (Excellent dance song with classic syths. I'd like to hear more from this guy. He's an Irish DJ named Paul Masterson and apparently has many aliases,Yomanda being one of them. Apparently he's worked with Armand van Helden as well.)

#8 - I Dream - Waldos People (This ones quite different from these other tracks. It came in '98 and has male vocals which sound robotic in the verse, the hook is pretty catchy though cause theres actually singing. The beat reminds of of "What Is Love" kinda.)

#9 - L'Amour Tojours (or can be found under I'll Fly With You. There are a few mixes of this track) - Gigi D'agostino (An all-time favorite for me. Its a slower love ballad. The lyrics and vocals really make this song for me, but the beat is great too. If you love Euro and havent heard this get on it!)

#10 - Life - E Type (Powerful Euro snthys, very fast, upbeat and a catchy tune thats a blast to sing along with.)

Great post. I'm sure something I listen to could be considered euro-dance, but I don't dabble in genre's much. I also don't think I have anything from the 90s in the category. What artists would you recommend I check out if i were to look into that decade (or others)?

The soundtrack for A Night At The Roxbury is pretty much all classic 90's club music. Forgetting Haddaway for a minute, it also features "Be My Lover" by La Bouche. I'm not sure how big Emjay ever became internationally, but she was big in Canada at the time; songs like "In Your Arms", "Flying To The Moon", and "Listen To The Sound Of My Heartbeat" kept her on the charts.

The only problem with 90's Euro is that the majority of artists are one-hit wonders. When you go to the clubs you hear a mash-up mix up of these hits. Its difficult to point someone in the direction of a particular artist because their music and styles varie so much. What I mean is their albums don't exactly fit into one genre. However, in any case I strongly back Cascada. She broke out on the scene in '04 although, but is consistent with the Euro theme. Perfect Day which was released in '07 is amazing, though to some people a few of the tracks may sound much the same. Real good cd to wild out to thats for sure.
