The water move is Hydro Cannon, just so you know man.

Oh my god, I timed out and lost everything I typed, well, suffice it to say, I did the research there are 8 types he never "officially" caught and they are: Electric, Steel, Dragon, Rock, Dark, Psychic, Ground and Ghost. He never actually "caught" pikachu, Larvitar, Noctowl is not a psychic type, and he never caught Haunter, or Gligar.

There are 4, wow, that's the amount of generations there are, it's really easy think about it.
Spikey!
December 3rd, 2008, 10:48 AM
Well I'm guessing dcr said that because actually, those are the only two that evolve at 55. Shelgon evolves into Salamence at level 50 and Gabite evolves into Garchomp at level 48. Unless I have completely overlooked two evolution sets of pokemon, dcr is right.

Wow, I've always had my Vibrava's evolve at 50 and my Salamence's at 55, another of my glitched games. I wasn't sure about Gabite though, I never played those, but I figured from the info I had that it would be the same for the 4th gen, but I guess I was wrong. You're go dcr.

How are Pewter City and Petalburg City connected?
G
December 5th, 2008, 08:07 PM
They both start with Pe, I'm right, because you just asked for how they were connected and they're connected that way so ha, I win. And I could also say for Pewter and Rustboro because they're both rock gyms.

You are correct! However, I don't think they work better than Great Balls tho. Every source I have looked at has said that they have the same catch rate as a Pokéball, and are only different from one another in appearance.

The young boy who saves Celebi in the past from a hunter and Celebi teleports both of them to Ash's present time to get away from the hunter but Celebi ends up being captured anyways? I think the group he was part of was called Vicious or something like that and I know it's basically saying the same thing over but it's worth a try.

Alright. What are the 4 abilities that strengthens the moves of weakened pokemon, and what atribute do they effect each?
Spikey!
December 30th, 2008, 09:46 PM
I don't know if I understood that completely but do you mean Blaze, Overgrow, Torrent and Guts? If so then it's 1.5x damage for Fire, Grass and Water moves and Guts increases the pokémon's attack when it has a status condition (IE burn, paralyzed, etc).
G
December 31st, 2008, 12:43 PM
I thought that Guts raised attack when a pokemon was suffering, as in in red health.
Megacomet
January 1st, 2009, 12:25 PM
Spikey! is right. Guts only works when the pokemon is suffering from a status condition. Not when it's health is low.
G
January 1st, 2009, 01:50 PM
Hm, I always thought my Taillow's got stronger when they were low on health, that would probably be more appropriate seeing as suffering would mean really weak and fragile being hurt and low health, last I checked in games if you were low on health you were bleeding out, maybe not pokemon, but whatever.

Wow, that really sucks if it does that, unless somehow you just glitched your game which in that case it just sucks for you.
Spikey!
January 3rd, 2009, 02:52 PM
It's actually does that with all the games, not just mine. Otherwise there would be an infinite number of Manaphy everywhere.
G
January 4th, 2009, 11:16 AM
Oh, wait, you mean it only gives one egg, but you can get another if you start the game over, not you get it your first go through and its gone forever.
Spikey!
January 4th, 2009, 12:56 PM
No, I meant your second choice. Once you play through the game the first time and get the Manaphy egg, you can't get another one again. Meaning you'd have to buy another copy of Pokémon Ranger in order to get another Manaphy. After you get it that first time it's gone forever on that game.

G

Everything, the unlockable cave underneath, getting them in it's interity (sp?), everything, from the beginning of the game, I made it really hard, but most should know it, because it's not all that hard in itself.
Megacomet
January 8th, 2009, 08:12 AM
Sorry I've been gone so long guys. I've been finishing up my 2nd go trough of Emerald, next I'll be trying Leaf Green. Anyways here's what you do to unlock the Regi caves. Note according Emerald.
1. Get 7 badges, get the Dive HM, the dig TM, Wailord, and Relicanth
2. Surf to pacifdlog town
3. Then carefully surf to a dive location on route 134
4. Dive and travel underwater to the oppisite end you'll see a spot with some brail. Surface there.
5. You'll be in a cave, go to the other end, ignoring the mounds wit brail. On the wall you'll see some brail. While facing that wall use dig. A door will open.
6. Go in, and go to the end of the chamber. You'll see a wall with more brail. Put Wailord in your first spot and Relicanth in your last spot of your team, and read the brail. The ground will shake and you'l here three doors open far away.
7. Get out of the cave and Fly to either Petalburg, Lilycove, or Lavaridge.
8a. From Petalburg Surf down route 104 following the western border till you see a island with a Ruin Maniac. Cross the island and surf north till you come to Regice's cave. Read the brail and travel 1 lap around the cave keeping to the edge. The door will open
8b. From Lilycove travel west down route 121 to route 120. Near the girl that gives you a daily berry travel up some stairs past a cloaked Ninja Boy and up some more stairs to get to Registeel's cave. Read the brail and stand in the exact center of the cave and use Flash. The door will open.
8c. From Lavaridge travel East to the dessert and head south to Regirock's cave. Read the brail, then go 2 steps left and 2 steps down and use Rock Smash. The door will open.
That Good enough?
G
January 8th, 2009, 05:29 PM
Wrong, I can tell you you have alot of it wrong, and it's not just small mistakes, I mean, opening the Regi's doors are wrong.

Would I have to completely write my own answer or could I just correctly state how to open all the Regis doors?
G
January 8th, 2009, 07:55 PM
No, you messed up in the beginning too, that was just where you completely wrong, and it may be different in emerald but if it is, I was talking about R/S, I was actually hoping they didn't change it.
Megacomet
January 9th, 2009, 01:40 AM
Note according Emerald.
I left that note in my answer so you'd know I'm not wrong G4. I based my answer on Pokemon Emerald. You can even check for yourself here.
The Regis
Get wailord and relicanth in your party, along with someone who can dig and someone who can dive. Then fly to pacidflog town, and go to the bottom of the town, on that little log bridge that extends 1 square out of the bottom. Then surf west/left, and let the current take you. This is the hard part. The currnt will take you to an island that looks like and arrow pointed west.. Beat up the blabkbelt guy ther and then go to the far point of the island, above the rock at the arrow's point. Surf west. You should end up on a big island with water in the center. Go to the far left and on the extending part of the island. You should be funneled into a small currentless area, with one 2v2 trainer. Beat her and him and surf west. you will arrive on an island. Go to the left of it, and surf west again. you will be on a small island. Be very careful here. Go to the very bottom left, then go 3 squares up. You should arrive at a very small place where you can dive. dive down, then go around to the bottom of the circle. There should some strange braille on the wall above you. Read it, then use dive. You should come up in a secret cave. Go to the far north wall and read the braille, then use dig. Now enter the next room. Go to the north again, and read the sign. Translated it says "First comes relicanth, last comes wailord." Well now put relicanth in the first slot of your party, and in wailord in the last. Then talk to the slate again. There will be an earthquake, and it will say it sounded like a door opening far away. Now you can dig out if you want, or go back. You did what you came to do. Note that if you have Emerald, it's slightly different. In Emerald you have to put Wailord at the front of your party and Relicanth at the end in order to open the Regi caves.
Regirock
First, Fly to lavaridge town. Now go east and down the steps. Then go the farthes east you can again. Above you should be the desert. Enter it. Go to the bottom center. There should be a big cave surrounded by small rocks: enter it. Then go through the north door. In Ruby and Sapphire, read the slate at the north, then go 2spaces right, then 2 spaces downand use Strength there. In Emerald, go 2 steps left, 2 steps down, and use Rock Smash. It will open a door in the middle of the slate. Go in, and save. Regirock is rock type. He knows Superpower, which is a powerful fighting move but lowers his defense and attack, Curse, which lowers his speed but raises his defense and attack, Ancient Power, which has a 10% chance of all his abilities going up by one stage, and Rock Throw. Get him down to low health fast and to sleep fast. He has the Clear Body trait, so you can't lower his stats. All the regi do. Do this fast so he can't raise his stats too much first. Then chuck ultraballs like crazy. It'll take a huge amount. Well now that you've caught him, congratulate yourself, and save it. Now stock up on more ultraballs.
Regice
Fly to Petalburg City. Make sure you can catch an ice pokemon. Then go west, until you reach a beach. Go to the bottom of the beach. Then surf south, sitcking to the west wall. Go west as often as possible, keeping south. Eventually you will reach an island with a bunch of trees and a trainer on it (the trainer's a rune hunter). They are all around the Regi locations. Go west. there will be a small island with just some trees. Go in between them, and surf north, and a little west. You will reach a rock formation like Regirock's cave. go in, and through the door in the top. In Ruby and Sapphire, look at the Braille slate and wait. After a couple minutes the door will open. In Emerald, read the inscription and then do a clockwise lap around the entire room staying next to the walls at all time. Once you have done a full lap, the door will open allowing you to battle Regice. Go in and capture Regice, using the same strat as regirock. Regice knows the same stuff as Regirock, except for Rock Throw being Icy Wind instead, an ice attack that lowers speed. All the regis know Superpower, Curse, and Ancient Power in addition to their one special move.
Registeel
Fly to lilycove city and then go west to route 120. Go up the stairs and go north. You will go through some extra long grass, and rain will start. Then you should find a cave like the others. Go up and read the Braille slate. In Ruby and Sapphire, go to the center of the room and use Fly. In Emerald, go to the center of the room and use Flash. Then the door will open, and registeel awaits. His special move is Metal Claw, which has a chance to raise attack. Use the same strategy as before.
Pulled this directly from GW Emerald guide. Note that there is a difference between Emerald and R/S
