I've heard a bit of his sh*t, and it's been aight... He's definitely unique, but I haven't been blown away by his concepts or lyricism. And while he disses Soulja boy, you don't have to be relevant to diss that wackjob.

So, anyone got something from this Brooklyn cat that will change my mind?

Oh sh*t, I missed this thread. Yeah, you're right about hamilton. I mean, he's good but he's one of those guys that tend to try and sound much more intelligent than they are. You can tell when he's using large words on purpose even if it breaks the flow a little. I dunno it's just kind of annoying, Canibus does that on a few songs. Canibus is still the sh*t though.

What got me thinking about him was a video I saw on a site, and it was him hanging out with Joe Budden, Royce da 5'9", and Joell Ortiz (3/4 of the crazy supergroup, Slaughterhouse), and they were having a friendly argument. Those three guys are insane lyricists, so for them to tour with him or whatever (they haven't recorded a song with him), I was wondering if I missed something.

I'm still wondering, to be honest.

As for Canibus, he's a guy who's on my "Find entire discography when summer starts" list. I sadly don't have much exposure to him.
