I know I'm probably gonna get flamed like Hell for this, but I got the album last week and I'm really enjoying it. Anyone else think it's at least decent?

Boring. Pure boring.
It was flat and had no substance whatsoever.

You mean just like all of the rest of their stuff?

Their other albums just don't impress me.

Nothing they do impresses me. It all sounds like the exact same song. They're a prime example of a corporate generated band just used to get money from scene kids who will buy any kind of music just because it's on the radio.

Man oh man, LK... Everybody under a record label is a corporate musician. You can't single out some groups while idolizing others that are pimped by the same corporate structure. You can't go platinum or gold in the industry without the backing of a semi-major/major record company.
The guy asked for people who had ACTUALLY listened to the album, and weren't gonna rip the group based on preconceived notions. Looks like he got neither...

It would seem that way. Dammit.

Dude he asked if anyone else thinks they're descent. Obviously you don't, therefore just keep your negative opinion to yourself.
What're some of your favorite bands?

I dug their first album. The second album had a couple catchy tunes, but I didn't enjoy the whole thing. How does this one compare to the others (for those that liked it) and what tracks would you recommend?

I Don't Care is catchy and just a hook song. Maybe a couple other decent ones, the latter tracks have a more r&b feel.
I rank their albums:
1. Take this to your grave.
2. Infinity On High
3. New One
way down below corktree

I like all the albums, but this one they experimented away from what they originally did. This one has more of an almost Gym Class Heroes vibe to it, as in at times it seems like it can fit many different genre's.
Take This To Your Grave is the best because Patrick wrote all the music and songs for that one, so knew how they should sound, unlike the Pete writes the lyrics and Pat writes the music like they do now.

I've been listening to it a lot more recently, and it's got a real blues feel to it.
