Disappointing. I'm not a die-hard Killers fan but I do enjoy listening to them time from time, and since my other favorite bands haven't had new stuff for a while I was looking forward to this one.
Human has a good beat and bad lyrics, it's decent (nothing special though).
The rest of the album was unimpressive. Some of the songs are ok, but they aren't something I'd want on my playlist, maybe something I'd tolerate on the radio.

They're going in the same direction they took with Sam's Town, and whether that is good or not is up to the fan in question. I like it, liked Hot Fuss better and probably always will, but it's good. Spaceman, Losing Touch, and A Dustland Fairytale are probably my favorites.
I do think that it's pretty neat how they're continuing to tell stories with their songs, though.

Meh this album strayed back more towards "Hot Fuss" but it failed to compare to either that album or "Sam's Town". I do thoroughly enjoy "Joy Ride" though. "Hot Fuss" will always remain their best album imo.

It's decent. I really don't have anything to compare it to as this was the first complete album of theirs I have. I got Hot Fuss at iTunes for $3 the other day, so we'll see how that goes.
The first 5 songs are quite good on the new album. The rest is only okay.

I prefer Hot Fuss far and beyond the last two albums. In fact, upon giving Day & Age a listen through, I said "Did the Killers get a new singer?" Brandon Flowers has lost his unique vocal sound and become generic. Shame.

Sam's Town felt really forced. Like they were trying to be artistic or something. It was like
"WE WERE NOMINATED FOR A GRAMMY LOOK AT US!"
I liked Hot Fuss a lot.
Especially Smile like You Mean it.

I enjoy the album quite a bit, but not as much as Sam's Town. As for Hot Fuss, while I haven't listened to it completely in about a year, I don't remember liking it as much.
