Does anyone have it? It is so good, but so much more different then I expected. The only problem I have with the album is that whoever is doing the grunts is absolutely horrible. In songs like Integral Birth the grunts would have been better if it were say, Mikael Akerfeldt, doing them. Basically, the grunts should have been more heavy and challenging though I can understand why they would want that peaceful atmosphere.

It's one of the greatest records of 2008 in my opinion. I love the vocals.

Also it's just general courtesy to mention the actual band Cynic somewhere in your post.

I could have sworn i made the title of this thread, Traced in Air - Cynic.

Well I love the record, I just think that the grunts could have been better, though the record is really growing more on me. I have been listening to it pretty much every chance I get. I really like King of Those Who Know and The Unknown Guest a lot. Oh and the other problem I have with the record is the version of Evolutionary Sleeper. It was better when they did it live. They slowed it down too much on the record.

It was one of the best 2008 records though.
