I noticed that the game does post these "notes" and sort of tell you what you need to do to unlock a bonus and it even says it on the match up screen too.
When Punk is aiding Dreamer in the match against Burke...Morrison is ring side your GOAL is for Dreamer to win. But it seeams Morrison will jump in and Styles automatically says Morrison hit Dreamer and the DQ thing pops up and blah blah blah.
So...tech...Dreamer won...yet it doesnt say you met your goal.
So I am currently trying to keep Morrison from jumping in no luck so far...but will it unlock anything?
I understand that it says Mandatory when it usually says Optional but it just seems so weird if Morrison is going to do it anyway it would seem like my real goal would be to make sure Dreamer wins CLEAN.
He also becomes superman like with his reversersals. But you can trick him if he puts you in a submission he wont break it...or if you prevent him from climbing in the ring it gives you an extra second.
I held Morrison off enough for Dreamer to get TWO DDTs but Burke wouldnt be pinned.

Yeah I guess you need to keep him for a long long time...
It takes forever for a computer to win. In the Rey/Batista storyline, Batista wouldn't go down after five spears.

I think that segment is just timed and there's no way to win it. THe objective is just there so you don't see the DQ coming. I thought it was a nice curveball.

Yeah, I totally agree, but you get where I am coming from right? If its a goal of any kind it should let me know that I passed or failed it.
I am just renting right now but if I own it anytime soon Ill spend nights trying to stop Morrison. I just figure Burke will never get pinned even if I did hold him off for the match. I could try messing with the CPU moves and reactions...cheating sure...but I wanna prevent Morrison. lol.
I did however change his entrance just because I dont like it and I never really seen anyone do it but Shelton so the different inring move does help with pulling him off before he actually steps in the ring.

Mandatiory goals don't unlock anything.
They don't say if you pass or fail.
You just do them.

Yeah, but it still seems odd because its not like the optional goal of not using your finisher or beating someone under a certain amount of time this is something that is suppose to be your goal yet the computer does it for you automatically.

I peeked at the strategy guide. Apparently Morrison runs in automatically after a certain amount of damage.

You keep trying to enter the ring, eventually you enter and you have to beat up on Morrison and Burke.
It worked for me that way.

Right, but I was trying to prevent Morrison from getting in at all and letting Dreamer win clean like the Goal said.
But its obviously one those trademark moves by the makers to tell you to do one thing but the game has its own idea of how to play out the goal they just dont let you know until it happens.

Which is why you know if the computer kicks out of your finisher twice, there will be interference.
Or you're against John Cena who willkick out anyway.

But thats fun too try to pin the guy as fast as possible or not pin the guy at all to see what the game does.
Its still a shock when it happens in SVR games because it just seems forced esp. how sometimes the cut scene that plays out would of happen anyway ya know?

Like when MVP pegs it in that one match. I saw him running and thought 'Oh no you're not' and knocked him down and spent two hours beating him up until I got bored.

When I did it, it counted, but that was a long time ago so I may not remember.

The game is funny though...If I am not mistaken during the Morrison Goal I could slide in and out with free will but in another storyline there was someone outside the ring and it wouldnt let me slide in.

Since this is about CM Punk, is it just in my game, or is everyone else noticing that he's missing tattoos in the game?

The Pepsi Logo and The Cobra Logo are copyrights.
In most pictures offically put out by the WWE for games or posters or shirts they usually photoshop off his tats.
Although, funny enough, one of those bears that WWE sells its a Punk bear and the picture has just a few of his tats but its interesting to note the two that are usually not included are included on this bear.
SideNote: Pepsi has recently tweaked their logo so its possible that the WWE will be allowed to use it soon.

I thought it was something like that, I just didn't notice it in the last game. RTW brought it to my attention.
