Barrack Obama, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey were flying on Obama's private plane.
Obama looked at Oprah, chuckled and said, 'You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy.'
Oprah shrugged her shoulders and replied, 'I could throw ten $100 bills out of the window and make ten people very happy.
Michelle added, 'That being the case, I could throw one hundred $10 bills out of the window and make a hundred people very happy.'
Hearing their exchange, the pilot rolled his eyes and said to his co-pilot, 'Such big-shots back there. I could throw all of their asses out of the window and make 56 million people very happy.'

Knew the joke after the names were mentioned. I've heard countless versions of this joke.

Is anyone else as tired of this one as I am?

Those are three people that the vast majority of the population like. The joke's kinda... wrong.

56 million isn't the vast majority.

You could easily switch Obama, Michelle and Oprah out with McCain, Cindy and Palin and the joke would've had the same level of truth. Possibly even more.

I guess you're still bitter that the "socialist" won, aren't you?
Joke is old, won't be funny no matter which names are used.

Being a Canadian, I still don't understand why being labeled a "socialist" is a derogatory term. Isn't it a good thing that you're trying to spread the wealth and make it easier for those without money?

Not really. It encourages people to be lazy and work 20 hours a week and still make as much money as someone who works 40 hours doing the same job. It can be too easily exploited and doesn't help the problem, it just gives it a bandaid.

Employment insurance only gives unemployed people enough money to buy food; there's no way they can afford to pay bills or any luxuries with the amount of money they "make" (of course, this is in Canada; if America honestly does it the way you described it then it's no wonder it's economy has been sodomized to hell and back).
Again, why it's seen as a bad thing to want the people of your country to survive flies right over my head.

I think the reason Obama being socialist was such a fear thing is that many voters can still remember the times of the Cold War and the communist threat and assume the any socialism is a terrible thing. It's basically a negative sterotype that won't go away. At least that's my opinion.

56 million isn't the vast majority.
Considering Obama won 52% of the popular vote, uh...
Anyway, yeah, not funny. Lame, dull, and pretty old with an attempted new twist, but not funny.

Jeez, even jokes turn into political arguments. Anyway, it was an old joke.
Though I wouldn't mind if Oprah went away. :D

Rolled my eyes as soon as I read the money was being thrown out of the windows. Very, very old.

Well, how about this one:
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were sailing when their boat sank. Who was saved?

From the viewpoint of an American, I have come to understand that a great deal of Americans are simply greedy. And I blame that mostly on capitalism. But this is a joke forum, and no place for political debate:D

Second joke was very good. Actually, both gifts were good from my political standpoint, though only the first one was funny.
