Since most bands have to gain much popularity to cross borders, please tell me some music that hasn't reached our ears yet and metal fans might enjoy.

I've noticed most people here like one or another sub of metal.
Like me:
The Berzerker (Australia)
8 Foot Sativa (New Zealand)
Amon Amarth (Sweden)
Naglfar "
Brujeria (Mexico)
Dragon Force (England)
Imperanon (Finland)
Ensiferum " "
Wintersun " "
Norther " "
Kataklysm (Canada)
Mayhem (Norway)
Turmion Kätilöt (Finalnd)

Good underground bands from Jamendo.com
Veils of Perception (France)
Positive Hate "
Serpenthia (Finland)
Naetherna (Spain)
Lead Weight (Russia)

Any additions?

Everyone probably knows about these bands but some of my favorites:

HammerFall - Sweden
Edguy - Germany
Helloween - Germany
Firewind - Greece (I think)
Borealis - Canada (though that's not international for me ;))
Crimson Shadows - Canada (These guys sound like Dragonforce with screaming)
Gamma Ray - Germany
Mystic Prophecy - Germany
Eidolon - Canada
Gama Bomb - Ireland
Kreator - Germany
Destruction - Germany
Sodom - Germany

Most of the bands are Power Metal but the ones towards the end are Thrash Metal

I've recently started listening to Maximum the Hormone, they're a Japanese band that combine metal, hardcore and rock (they even have a bit of rap and pop thrown in).
Saw them live last night (supporting a British band called Enter Shikari) they were really good.
They're also quite big in Japan and I think their latest album got to #4 in the Japanese charts.
