It has been confirmed that the almighty Rammstein have reunited after their "break" and are currently working on a new album slated for release in 2009. I recently rediscovered the greatest German band of all time thanks to a friend who had their entire catalogue on Itunes which I put on my Ipod, and all I have to say is fear the coming arockalypse.

If you couldn't already tell, Rammstein are one of my favorite bands. I rediscovered them through that friend who has all of their stuff on Itunes, and I can't stop listening to them. It only took me about a half hour each to learn to play Ich Will, Feuer Frei!, and Zwitter. It took me about an hour to an hour and a half to get Du Hast down perfectly thanks to that weird ass rhythym.

Anyway, come here and profess you undying fanboyism for Rammstein and your excitement for their new album.

I haven't heard much of their stuff but I really like Ich Will, Sonne and Du Hast. I might check out their new album.

Been listening to them since Herzeleid came out in the mid 90's... one of my most professed bands... I can say that they might not come to the US though, they don't seem too enthralled to be in the US when they tour...

All I can say is that the German shows surpass the shows in any other country. You've not been to a Rammstein gig till you've been to one with thousands of 6’ 4”+ Germans all in leather and studs. I'm 6'2 and some of the guys dwarfed me down the front, I was just a mass of bruises and cuts for about 2 weeks after but I loved every second.

So yea, even if they are comingt o England I'll see them in the Fatherland.

You know who else referred to Germany as the fatherland? Yeah. That guy.

Oh, you must mean Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck!

The "Germany is nothing but a land of commie bastards" sterotype is really old.

Commies are different from nazis, but the fact that he's making that generalization is still just as bad.

Are they ever going to come back to the states for a show?

I doubt it anytime soon... they seem more interested in Asian and Mexico tours outside of Europe...

I seriously hope they consider doing another Family Values Tour.

Yeah, Flyleaf just doesn't cut it.
The biggest reason they're not touring in USA, in my opinion, is that we won't let them do the crazy pyrotechnics they are so famous for.

It's Rammstein. They'd find a way around it somehow. I'd love to see Till Lindeman do some cartwheels in flamethrower boots and watch Christoph destroy his set with the spark-spewing drum sticks.

I guess Rammstein 'fans' are as soft as I thought if you fall for bait as weak as that.

I think it also has to do with that time they got arrested for that "sex" stunt...

So you admit to trolling? :hmm:
