I have a 30g Zune right now. The reason I opted for the that, instead of the iPod was the price was because it sounded like a very good amount of gigabytes, and it was only going to run me around a hundred dollars, because the model was being phased out.

However, there is a big crack in the screen and all kinds of other stuff that makes me really unhappy as a consumer.

I would go ahead and buy the iPod without question. However, I have bought a lot of music on the Zune Marketplace. I do not want to go through the process of putting all of that onto a disc, and then importing it into iTunes.

So can I just put the music that I have bought from Zune into iTunes?

Are the files .mp3 and on your computer? If so, you might be able to import the directory into iTunes. It's worth a go. If not, you'll have to burn the tracks onto a CD and go that route.

It depends on the file format. The music that goes onto an iPod can only be (as far as I know) .mp3, .mp4 & .m4a
So chances are, unless it's one of those three file times, you'll have to put them on a cd and do it that way.
I'm guessing if you had to buy them from the zune library that they're some sort of funky protected file type anyhow. Sorry dude, I can't think of an easier way. :/

Yeah I figured out that I have to put them on a CD. They are protected.

Thanks for the help though.
