I've always wanted to know why everybody on the GTS thinks their level 1 Magikarp deserves a level 100 Deoxys.
I've heard about a clone glitch, but I see Pokemon on there that aren't worth the effort to clone.
Unless there's some secret hacker society that gives out level 100 Deoxys' for level 1 Magikarps, I can't see the reason for everybody to make such pointless trade offers.
(Excluding people with Pokemon that evolve via trading, using the GTS glitch.)

People could be cloning IV-bred Pokémon. I like to go for Level 100 (something I want to breed) so I have a parent if someone nimrods me.

What I find more annoying that people ask for off-limits legendaries such as Mew or Celebi in trade for regular baby Pokémon or anything that people trade around to fill their Pokédexes. It even seems like they are serious. "Mm, I have this nice lv.14 Mime Jr., I'd like to have a Jirachi of any level in change." Certainly, they couldn't have seen those rarities or legendaries without a hacking device...
Yes, two different kinds among traders: those who ask for a regular lv.100 Pokémon, and those who ask for any level legendaries. The latter group seems to be less likely a group of cloners. What do you think?
I don't know who was the stupid one here: I once offered an extra lv.100 Salamence that I had EV-trained (it had full attack IVs, attack stat of 405) and Heart Scaled (fangs "relearned") for a Dialga of any level. Well, I got a Dialga without handing over any of my precious legendaries. I might be a real moron for sending away such a treasure (which was actually just an effort training experimetal), but I can't help laughing when I remember I forgot to remove Mence's nickname. Now somewhere in the world a Salamence called Kinkku (=Ham) is used for breeding, battling and so on. :rotfl:

Remember, to ask for a pokemon, you have to have seen it, so the 'asking for legendaries' are probably cloners.

They're probably cloning items, not Pokémon.
