I recently got Pokemon Pearl and Diamond (finally :woohoo: ), and I'm checking out the move Gravity. It intensifies gravity to cancel out Levitate and the Flying type's invulnerability to Ground-type moves. I was wondering if there are any other special effects that Gravity causes? (Like Sunny Day allowing Solarbeam to be used in one turn, or Thunder having perfect accuracy during Rain Dance)

ummm, you can use earthquake on a swellow?
i should think it cancels out magnet rise, giving that 4x ground weakness back to that pesky magnezone.

It also allows Flying types/Levitators to be hit by Spikes/Toxic Spikes, but other than that I think that's it.

It decreases both side's evasion by 30%. This makes Thunder and Blizzard hit almost all the time; other than a Rhyperior sweep, this is basically the only reason to use Gravity.
All Pokémon, regardless of previous Ground immunity, take damage from Spikes and Ground attacks.
Gravity's really rare, and at best really hard to abuse. I'd probably skip it, but hey, if you've got a gimmick Blissey, Clefable, or Probopass set, by all means go for it.
