A dark spacial mass that could give itself the illusion of any type of terrain that could ever be thought up by its master, the great and wise Starfyre. Upon arrival, all one might see is a space cloud, but once inside, it becomes whatever is on Starfyre's fantastic mind at that time.

A slip of paper was on the "floor" by the "entrance" of the "Storm" that, once touched, the toucher would fall into the cloud and become Starfyre's slave student.

"Uh..." Was all Miss Understood could say. After re-writing the post so many times, she had no idea how to make an entrance. "Well, I'm here, but I think we just tore a hole in the universe, what with the In-character posts coupled with the fact that you used the fourth wall to build this thread, along with the thought that we're talking in third person about ourselves, and many other things..." She bent down and examined the paper. "Sucker? That's not nice." She picked it up, but was suddenly thrown into the cloud in a flash of light.

Starfyre descended down upon into the storm, his arms crossed, a warm, yet strange smile engulfed his face. There was no light to be found, the sun so far away it could not be seen, but there the two could see each other perfectly.

"What is this?" His student asked.

"It is nothing but my imagination--or, in the least, what my imagination wants it to be. Truthfully, it is a cloud in space--a nebula if you will. It is connected to my mind and whatever I wish it to be, it is. You must describe all that you see."

Before Miss Understood could speak, Starfyre continued in a slightly toneless voice.

"You must describe these vast recesses of space. The stars, even the nothingness of this godforsaken place of solitude."

Miss Understood thought the order over. She chose her first words very carefully, before pouring her heart out. This had always been her best subject.

"This place is nothing, yet it is everything. It is everywhere, yet it is nowhere. It is a creation of a dreamer, a bender of reality, if you will. This place is a wonderful place for some, yet Hell for others. You can be by yourself here, a lone fish in an endless, expansive ocean. Space, as this is, continues forever, yet it goes nowhere, until you say it does, which then creates the illusion of it going somewhere. You can have it in your hand, and still be holding nothing. It is full of nothingness, and there is nothing in it. As if nothing is a thing, and yet it isn't a thing. It is as if you are giving a value to nothing, because that is what this place is.

"The place we are in is the simplest place of all, yet the most complicated to understand. When you think about it, you must not think to hard, if you think at all. When you reach your hand out, you grasp it, and yet your hand is empty. The most academically capable could ponder over this place till his death, and still not have an inkling of what he is thinking about. And if he did think about it, he would be thinking of nothing, and that is enough to drive anyone mad. It is an endless circle, yet everything is still.

“There is absolutely no movement here, no life. That is, there wasn’t until we got here, and now that we are here, it is our-that is, your-kingdom. You can change it to your liking, and it will proudly bend for you, because it is yours. It belongs to you, and yet, you own nothing. It is hard, if even possible, to understand.

“As of now, because you have not given it an order, or perhaps because you have, it is an ever-expanding space. You can walk, but you’ll never get out of the desert. The stars may seem like beacons in the night, but they are not, unless you say they are. They may appear to get closer, but you will die before you reach one. They may dance around in front of you, taunting you to insanity, and it will all have been because you said it was so.

“This place is most curious, the land of questions, if you will. If one were to try to answer them all, they would surely meet their death. The things I have said are the most redundant in the world, but there is no better way to describe it.”

Starfyre's face grew brighter--literally--his oddly entrancing grin reaching the sides of his mystic face. Arms still crossed, he called out to his pupil: "Fantastic! I could not have said it better myself. Even I do not understand it; however, there is truly no need for understanding. All you need is a little faith. Here, every bit of reality is an illusion, even the stars. You could say we aren't even in our normal dimension, but some space between dimensions.

"It is quite beautiful in its current state isn't it? The stars are lovely and the nebulae are also quite the ravishing sight aren't they? Now, how about a plain, a running meadow filled with the joyous animals of the forest."

And just like that, the spacial scene became a meadow, full of flowers and wildlife such as deer and rabbits as far as the eye could see. The endless expanse flowing on for eternity. Trees surrounding and rivers flowing, the meadow was teeming with life, beautifully exuberant.

"Come, we will go into that shanty and suit up." Starfyre said to Miss Understood, pointing toward a small, smoking shanty.

Soon, "suit up" became clear, as the glimmer of weapons and armor, finely crafted from the lightest and most powerful of metals and minerals, shone through the open door.

"Any armor you could ever imagine is somewhere in this shed. Pick and describe what you choose, and then I shall choose mine just the same. We will practice in the art of battling, where too much description can make the battle slow and boring, but too little will leave the reader wondering." He waited for her to choose her arms, his arms still crossed as always and the same enticing smile slapped across his clean face.

"Okay. Hmm, lot of choices here." Miss Understood said, looking the various weapons over. She wanted to choose a weapon first, then armor that would complement that particular weapon. She finally picked a double-sided spear. The spear had large, ornate heads as sharp as dragon teeth, but it also had barbs down the side, resembling rose thorns. Then she looked over the armor. She picked a robe. It looked like normal leather, because that's what it was; however, the robe had many thin, compressed layers, technology that had been invented by the Romans. It was great protection, but it was also lightweight and movable. She turned back to Starfyre. "Your turn."

Starfyre stared at the silent, vibrant equipment. He pondered his choice for a moment, and soon, donned a dark red armor, made from an alloy of two carbides: titanium carbide and tungsten carbide; it was near indestructible. The armor had decorative spikes in key areas, particularly on the gauntlets, allowing him to slashing his opponent. For his weapon, he chose a flyssa with a fiery red hilt. The tip of the blade curved upwards like a hook, proving much more ferocious then the normal flyssa.

"I am ready," he said, stepping out, his armor clanking. "Now, we will not fight here and disturb the peace." Soon, the entire landscape transformed; a desolate and fiery volcanic valley replaced the solemn field they once stood in. Lava flooded, jumping at the two, flames licking the sky as embers floated down from the erupting volcano. The black ground beneath them grew hotter and hotter. With sweat dripping from their faces, Starfyre, changing his stance, said to Miss Understood, "You may attack first. Show me what you've got!"

Miss Understood was unsure about how to start. She never really started the fights, and she realized how hard it must be. She darted towards Starfyre with spear raised, and Starfyre easily slid into a position to guard against it. At the very last second, right before she was deflected, she skid on her heels and turned her spear so the spikey shaft was going to dig into him.

A chortle cut through the wretched stench of sulfur and brimstone as the spear-driven Starfyre disappeared.

"I hope you knew that would happen." A smirk fell gently onto his face. "As the master of real illusions, I can make you see, hear, feel, and smell what I want you to see, hear, feel, and smell."

Starfyre raised his intricate flyssa, twisting it into an upright position, readying an attack. His body disappeared, reappearing behind his most delightful student.

"Surprise!" He said, as he swung his sword, "slashing" Miss Understood. "Blood" poured from a "gash" on her shoulder.

He laughed as she winced miserably in pain. "Of course, I could never hurt you." And her pain was gone as the landscape changed from a deadly volcano to a narrow, frozen valley, layered with snow. The width was only ten feet at best where large plateaus rose up from the ground.

The thing about it though, was it was just as hot as the volcano was. That was the beauty of illusions.

"Now, prepare yourself! There will be no illusions this time!" He shouted as he dashed forward, his sword outstretched, ready to attack his pupil.

Starfyre's sword sliced to the side as Miss Understood jumped back, jabbing her spear forward. Starfyre performed a quick backflip out of the way, rolling forward to slice at her legs, only to have her swing her spear into his sword, knocking it and his arm to the side. He backed up and disappeared yet again.

"I thought you said no more illusions!" She cried out.

"This is no illusion." He said appearing behind her yet again.

OOC: Sorry about the wait and lack of quality. Been busy and fairly stressed with school and other sh!t.

I'm really sorry. I've been racking my brain for weeks and I can't get anything. I don't want you to think I forgot about it, because it's been gnawing at the corners of my brain. Seriously. I know how stupid this is, because that's exactly what this is about and everything, but still, I can't get anything due to the setting. All I can think of is bending your reality, and I don't know if I'm allowed to do that. Then I know you're going to say something smart and I'm going to feel like more of an idiot >.>

I'm not good at saying smart things.:D

You can do whatever gets you to write, as I'm probably the most lenient guy ever.

Oh, and trust me, I know how you feel. I've put off many writings for many days or weeks due to random crap.
